I'm just impatient and maybe because of my work I'm a bit less tolerant than I should be about someone with Tully's talents buggerising around. To be clear, if she was travelling, doing volunteer work for Alzheimer's Australia or, or, or, I'd be much more sanguine. But she's been out of the house 5/6 months? Time to pull her finger out.

its difficult to travel when you are broke so she's tied to making the best of what offers she gets from channel 9 I guess for the moment and (hopefully) she's looking for work

when she worked as a Social Media Strategist did she work for herself and consult for other companies OR was she employed by one company solely for their benefit? does anyone know - I'm sure you do Reaper.

I just wondered if she was so good at it why hasn't she gone back to work for her employer - or did the shit storm and controversy mean she lost any chance of that happening?

maybe she doesn't WANT to go back to that and is hoping the appearances with Channel 9 will get her the opportunity to try for presenting jobs etc

I would love to see her put more effort into her blog and show us more depth too - I feel your pain
 
Ed has plenty of his own friends and doesn't need to be in contact with Tim. The only people who'd see it as a 'win' for Tim are his fans on here or Twitter, i certainly dont follow anything about Tim and am sure not many of Eds would either. I doubt whether Ed could care less.

ok I understand what you are saying - what I'm saying is that she did NOT post a photo of herself WITH Tahlia - its a photo of 3 friends together - but NOT Tahlia and Tully together.

So to me that's not provoking questions about Tahlia and Tully

also - how long does she have to wait before its ok ... they split at Christmas ... that's 5 weeks ... she and Tahlia are not together - they are rebuilding a friendship - their business if they progress from there - I don't care

I didn't like the immediate speculation that Drew got just because he got photographed hugging an exuberant Boog ...

out of 24 hours of their days we are now seeing even less than we saw when they were in the house - yet we are still thinking what we see is representative of their WHOLE lives somehow

when I'm saying WE here I'm meaning general population - not just us in the forum ... but the people on twitter/instagram etc etc

She needs to get a job. I don't care what sort of job, but what she says about being broke is at odds with her party lifestyle. Maybe she wants a different sort of job than she had pre-BB. There doesn't appear to be much evidence that she's actually looking. That said, i realise that she's more inclined to share her dog than her work prospects.

Yes it's genius. All Ed has to do though is be cordial on SM and pretend like everything is cool, but he doesn't actually have to catch up or anything. Just shut Tim down the smart way.

but you can rationalise it all you want. She would have known that any picture showing her hanging with the ex would pique peoples interest. As you know, she could post a photo that has a shadow of someone else and the twit-iots will be speculating. It's not about what is fair, it's about reality and reality is she is going to cop the questions. As she already knows from experience the media are also sniffing around. So don't get snotty and act like it's a shock when it happens. Doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, the crazies be crazy. Why post it unless you want that sort of attention. Don't poke the bear and then complain when it eats your face.

and still, why did she have to bring it up on social media that someone had asked her about her hanging with her ex. If you don't want it discussed then don't make it public knowledge.

Like i said, it doesn't matter what is fair, if you don't want the drama and attention then don't post it.

ie: she put it out there and knew the repercussions because she has been experiencing it since she left the house. She knew what she was doing and probably loves the attention, but pretends not to.

It was moi! I thought it was funny, and I continue to think it is funny. I also don't think Tahan is perfect - she pulls the same facial expression in every photo and she wears far too much make up. There, I said it.

someone mentioned her wanting a presenting job ... they are few and far between I imagine ..

with her notoriety she would come with some pluses and major minuses for some employees ... even IF she wanted a job in retain what store would want the negative crazies ... even the positive crazies are bad if they're not in the store to spend but just to take selfies!

I don't know what Tully wants - that's the frustrating thing - she isn't telling us.

But then why open up?

Look at Jade - she tells everyone she's going for an audition. Gets all the well wishes ... then the inevitable questions about how it went, what was it for, when will she know etc etc

I thought she was silly telling everyone about it ... better to go, to try, to succeed or fail ... and then its up to her if she shares about not getting what she was trying out for ... she could put a positive spin on it - went for my first audition - a huge day for me - learnt a lot - hopefully next time I'll be even better prepared. This is exciting AND nerve wracking! Thanks for your support! and then she has shut down the pity posts or the endless questions ... and moved forward ...

what am I thinking - nothing shuts down the crazies

except maybe the clock - this 'crazy' is off to bed :) (don't all cheer at once ... wait til I'm signed out at least :P lol)

thanks for putting up with my long winded posts - I wish I was a slower typist - I'd be more economical with my words :)

bottom line is I'm not ready to give up on Tully yet ... but that doesn't mean I'm blind to her imperfections ;)
 
Responding to [MENTION=34950]crimmy[/MENTION] and [MENTION=31931]Jo-bot[/MENTION] ...posting photos and the SM frenzy. I don't know how others use SM but I use a personal FB account to stay connected with friends (whom i actually know in person) and family who live south of the north!

I also use a SEPARATE, BUSINESS PAGE ... Call me a prude, but most people understand the unspoken boundaries that exist when you are showcasing your business. My point is...Tully is her own business.

Just before going into the house she worked for DDB Sydney, which is an agency with clients, so basically she was working with DDB clients but it wasn't on a freelance basis, it was for DDB. You know what I'm talking about.

As to why she didn't go back, from what I remember being said at the time from other people she was let go from her role but don't quote me on that especially as she didn't ever say that herself it might have been the case that she quit but from what was said as I remember it she was let go. That is also quite a few weeks ago now ha ha.

yeah i know - I was leaving ... but I just can't help myself

I agreed somewhat however i took what she did as more of a "no one finds this interesting for your columns/magazines - move on. this is OLD news"

I know that should she find herself in the future in a happy, steady relationship she'll be courting the same people again to get her story out ... its the nature of the beast



and now - because I'm terrified of what you're going to do with the suck it up princess line after the pull her finger out 'twist' I'm heading out of here FAST ;) lol

thanks for the great back & forth I've enjoyed it ... but probably won't get to sleep tonight because my brain will be racing!!!

see [MENTION=34950]crimmy[/MENTION] i'm famous (no i'm not) and might want to have a nice night out with my other half, nice restaurant, romantic. Now i know that if i tweet where i'm going for dinner then the paps will show up. Now i should be able to go out to dinner and enjoy myself, in a perfect world i would be able to. But if i advertise it on twitter i can't really complain when the paps show up. I can pretend it's annoying but the reality is i knew what the result would be. I should be able to tweet whatever i want, but if i don't want the paps to show up at dinner, i don't tell the world where i'm going to be.

i am so shitty. i just wrote a massive post giving my thoughts on Tully and the reasons why i like her and i took so long it logged me off. all deleted :mad:

recap, tully is weird, emo, selfish, sad, oblivious. she is also intelligent, well spoken, confident, strong, opinionated, passionate, and sensitive

oh, i was off shopping, yes i know it was late, SO WHAT? hahaha :D
