I think That is quite a stretch...saying she used him to create a storyline??? Really...She went in the house and immediately decided I'm going to try to hide my kisses with Drew from the cameras, cheat on my GF, hook up with him just so she could have a storyline!!!!... She talked after about how boring she felt she was when her and Drew were just hanging out with each other and she was surprised that they were such a big storyline on the show. (I think you are really reaching here..and giving her way too much manipulative credit. I think a lot of the HG's made her out to be more manipulative than she was...she was just emotional IMO and wore her heart on her sleeve)
I think they both would have been more interesting without the Drully storyline (IMO)....

That's what non drully shippers are saying in a roundabout way... they tried to say their thoughts a few times and then stopped out of concern of hurting feelings and not rehashing unproveable stuff! That's a great thing! That means this little wacko community we created in here actually cares... just like people messaged me worrying I'd be sad if they spoke out against Tim when I told them hell no...speak!! What that says is that we have stuck together - and I think it was more for the friendship than out of concern for these randos on BB - in a thread that should've died 2 months ago. getting back to what i was saying, if you defend too much you look like a looney, if you don't contribute you are lazy, so i am in a somewhat mixed mood about how much to know about any of them since i know none of them. and i haven't been drinking which makes it worse that i am sober #post

Doubtful she was contractually obliged to do it and I say unlikely Roxy socially/unofficially pressured her to do it but Roxy has certainly been one beneficiary of the mag deal but she is just doing her job. She secured three Ministry of Talent people commercial deals for the article - the makeup artist, the stylist and Tully herself. Of course taking management fees from all three of them.
The writer however was a freelance writer / editorial producer who used to work for OK! Mag as an Associate Editor, as far as I can tell she isn't signed to MoT/Sweaty Betty PR in any way just still seems to do a lot of OK! Mag work even though they aren't her employer anymore.
Also I don't know if this was put up in the thread, I don't think it was, but 6 weeks ago in OK! Mag this writer did something with Layla from 2012 about her diet plan but it also contains this snippet about Caleb:
"I thought he was a genuine person" Layla says of BB's Caleb Geppart. "Obviously I was mistaken."

Tully needed a crutch, but Drew admitted fairly early in the piece that he did too. Create a storyline? I think it created her...she had so many hormones/pheremones running wild that that even her big brain couldn't go fast enough. She didn't just fall for Drew she crashed into him. And if it was based on lust, then it didn't seem any less real to me. Interestingly, the most false line to my ears from Tully was her her calling Drew her 'house husband' in her farewell message. It was damage control of a sort, but Blind Freddie could see that it was more than that. Many rightly predicted that that type of intensity wouldn't last, but it was no less real for that. Tully proved time and again in the house that even though she could identify issues she didn't have the guile to manipulate anyone. I think you hit the nail on the head as to what was the big divider in their relationship (and ultimately caused the split). As soon as I saw she mentioned career as one reason they broke up, I would bet a lot that's the main one. I know Drew said he wanted to try some acting which is much lower paying, harder to find work, and riskier....than if he was to go back to uni for chemical engineering and it's much easier to get a job in that field...and the pay is pretty good even for a starting engineer (at least in the US it is)

Well, I didn't mean crutch, I actually really did mean 'crux'... Tully needed a bedrock, needed security, needed a reason. She was lost, and she relied on Drew. He was her crux...her meat and potatoes. I just think he could have enjoyed the BB experience so much more without all the drama! Yeah, she was crazy bout him...and vice versa...but it was all kinds of fkd up. Love..? No... Romp under the doona...yep!

The idea of making a statement about the relationship being over is a decent idea but saying "I risked a lot" is a bunch of crap. Getting dressed to the nines is questionable (and I do think she had some input in what she wore). I think Drew did not like the way she handled the break up. I believe that the odd posts he has been making are clever statements (playing with fire, head in a bottle? wearing a mask? ) The picture with the bottle or glass mask was directed at Tully, thus the reaction from her brother. They were both willing and active partners in getting together, there is no faking that kind of chemistry. I think Tully intended to go back to Tahlia when she walked out the door, but Tahlia had seen too much and wasn't having it, so Tully went to her strong second choice (Drew). I think they gave it a try but it didn't work out, Tully requires constant attention and is too impulsive for her own good. I think Tully broke this off and Drew continued talking to her , perhaps to try to fix things. I think they had a big argument right before Christmas, and the fact that they spent NYE apart spoke volumes. I have been a Drully shipper from the start, deep down I knew it probably wouldn't last but I wished them luck just the same. Hopefully Drew will be wise enough to not spend his time waiting on Tully any more and get out there and do some things.

..and I didn't really see it as an attack from the brother but more as a friendly comment...like hey you mentioned glass jaw, hey I know a 50 cent lyric that has glass jaw... I saw Drew has favorited some of her brother's pictures recently (actually both brothers) so I took it actually as a sign that they still got along...

Glass jaw is another possibility, fragile person?, living life in the bottle ? It seems to me it was a jab at Tully (and she probably deserves it).
