Google has put it up today even though it is on Fri 31st Jan. maybe the greeting takes that long to get to China? #slowboat

I guess that's why personal preference is a good thing. If everyone went after the same look I'm sure there'd be a lot of us in the world that would be very lonely. Fact is though, most other HMs' looks have been critisied here repeatedly so you should be allowed to voice your opinion re Tully's...especially when you weren't criticising, simply stating that you don't go as gaga over her looks as some others do in here...and that's totally understandable (well I hope it is anyway because I feel the same).

thanks SG. Yeah i kind of find that sometimes when i post something here my comment becomes bigger than intended and the original post/opinion gets lost in the to and fro. So because my comment started a convo about someones looks i was just trying to keep it clear what i meant in my original post as i would feel terrible if someone took it the wrong way. i wouldn't want to make someone/anyone feel bad about their own looks because i know self esteem is so important, so i was more concerned that anyone reading might think i was leading a conversation in which i was bagging someones looks and felt a bit bad for starting the topic in case it was taken in the wrong context. (i think i should have put an extra comma or full stop in there somewhere, i'm out of breath just typing it).

Beginning to wonder if she doesn't really wanna go on the NZ trip, lol, and this is a good excuse. But then again, she has tweeted to her NZ fans off and on for a while that she is excited to come there, so who knows.

one of her favourite bands, The Jezabels, along with Lorde and Vance Joy are in the line up too. that is a shame she might not be going if it is her ticket she is selling, and it will sell

Considering Jazz replied that Ash (Drew's friend) was looking for one doesn't seem like this decision was taken with any friendly consultation with Drew.

They live in the same place - surely he would know she was looking for a ticket to the same thing he was going to.

Maybe not, too busy stuffing around with a candle and a lighter.

i'm glad i saw a photo of one before they are gone, they're not ugly at all. pretty :cool: creatures really, unless i was swimming with one

it concerns me when Drew and fire are together :rolleyes: :) he would know what he is doing, but what's his mood like at the time?

Yeah, I just found it a strange thing for her to tweet, knowing that there would be people who remembered Drew's birthday present, and when surely she has enough of a network in Melbourne to sell the ticket without resorting to Twitter. Who knows. Keep 'em talking, I guess.
 
I also find it interesting how Tully always seems to be in hot water after hanging with the same group of friends.

When she hangs with Alex, Kay etc. (that general circle of friends) always something - Girlthing reports, reports on activities at The Courthouse, whatever was happening in that photo last night etc.

But when she hangs with Sophia, Liz (both of them), the boys - nothing.
