Yeah can't help but agree that certain jade fangehls get a tad precious, sanctamonius, self-righteous and all that about their gehl. From time to time I go over and check what they're 'discussing' over in the jade thread and the constant barrage of abuse Ed has copped from them over the course of the series and their time outside of the show is really no different to how non-jade posters feel about Jade.

Ed can do right by them, everything he does/say is twisted or interpreted to have a mischiveous/sinister agenda against their Jade whereas everything Jade say/does is above reproach and without blemish. *bleugh* Can someone please get me a bukcet? Not that I'm losing any sleep over it but I find the hypocrisy highly amusing :cool:

i think that goes for any of the die hard fans of any housemate, not just jade.

I've been in enough trouble today thanks.

No one has discussed the fact that Drew is attending plenty of auditions! I assume he means acting auditions or something like that - I don't think we have heard this before - sounds good. Hopefully he has asked Brohan for some tips.

That article is like the third or fourth story on the daily telegraphs mobile site. Even if the article is not accurate, that's pretty good that they are deemed newsworthy

Drew could easily walk into a role on Neighbours or Home and Away. We haven't seen him act I guess, however he did take the role of Tully's pretend boyfriend very well when she asked him to help her gain more recognition on Twitter.

In any case, it doesn't take many brains to realise that if you go into a thread called 'Jade Appreciation' you'd find people who are appreciating Jade. Surprise surprise.

As for anything else, no matter who we like or support it's natural to feel the urge to defend them if it feels like they're being insulted or put down.

That's neither her nor there. The crux of the matter is that it's hugely hypocritical for jade fanghels to get upset and indignant over non-Jade posters making similar comments/criticisms that they make about other housemates.

Like I said I can no difference in their dislike of other housemates in comparison to other poster's who intensely dislike Jade, both both groups are equally entitled to their views.

Crying about it and acting like a victim is a weak weasely way to silence those who don't share their opinion of Jade.

I agree. That's what an appreciation thread is for. But in saying that, if it's meant to appreciate the hm, well it shouldn't be used to hide behind as protection to discuss outrage over forum users either.
