Tahlia hasn't gone to the US yet but I'm thinking the help was to get Tully back home yesterday while Tahlia was out with her friends. Tahlia had a big day/night of drinking that she didn't plan on having based on what she said. I could be way off base with my guess but as soon as I came on here today and saw that they both had thanked Tahan (when Tahlia doesn't even know her), Tahlia was out boozing, Tully had left Melbourne and was only having a 'sleepover' with Luna that's the first thing that popped into my head. As Luna's back with Tahlia now it looks like her mad dash back home really was to just take care of Luna for the night and Tahan's HM helped rearrange/organise her flights.

Looks like it. The one Jade was modelling was in blue with yellow strips, I think, and one of the blonde gewls Ed was photographed with on NYE was also wearing it, but in another colour combination again

oh I really thought she drove back and forth to melbourne. if that's true, that dog is really expensive and high maintenance. Lol

This all makes complete sense, except the fact that a dog is unable to stay by itself for a night! Seriously, c'mon now!!!! Even if neither of them want Luna to be alone for a minute, surely there would be a friend who'd take her. What will happen if/when both these girls have jobs and can't be by her side all day and night? I think they're making a rod for their own backs to the point where Luna probably suffers separation anxiety when she's not with one of them. Not healthy for a dog.

I've seen adults - parents treat their children like this also and when the child is 12 years old, can't even go on a sleepover to a friend's place or on school camp due to the co-dependency the parents have instilled. It's debilitating for both parties. Sorry, bit off topic here!

I forgot to mention it when I saw it but they are going to be throwing a birthday party for Luna, IIRC it should be this month or next month I can't remember exactly. In realty it is probably just an excuse to get friends together and drink but still... does anyone here throw their dogs or other animals birthday parties?

Yeah, I don't know that I'd want to leave a sick pet alone, but they should have someone who can look after her in an emergency. Like...an emergency night of drinking. I think we can speculate about the logic of what happened, but as to the why? I'd guess it's less logic than drama.

Oh yeah, for sure...all the time. Jumping castles, water slides, party food... In fact, that reminds me, I really must ring the circus to organise the clowns for next weekend when my Foxie turns 1. :rolleyes:

I went to 3 dog birthday parties last year and have one coming up this month. Unfortunately I'm not kidding. They've been at parks or dog cafes, and yes a special doggy cake was involved. I could just have weird friends though.

so i'm just gonna pretend that i haven't read this and doesn't find this ridiculous and that i'm not worried for Drew's sanity. He must really loooove her.
 
my pet cockroach was squashed by a thong last night. was traumatic but now i have to organise something. what sort of food is appropriate for his wake? and how many do i cater for? he has a lot of family members coming
