I'm truly sorry to hear that you and your family are going through this with your mother [MENTION=37335]prufrock[/MENTION]. Having worked closely with many Alzhiemer's patients in the past I've seen first hand how devastating it can be for both themselves and their families. I pray one day that there is some kind of cure.

Didn't she say she adopts other people's mums? Not sure how that went with Drew's mother... Anyways, her own Mum's situation wasn't really what I was talking about, although I do realise it would impact on her life. I'm referring more to her being uncomfortable with her own company. I have friends like this who post things like 'what am i going to do with myself all weekend? The kids are away...' I just don't understand that AT ALL!!

And I agree with you about reading; it can fill a huge void in your life and take you away for many, many hours! Bliss!

Add: I've heard great things about West Wing but have never watched a single episode...worthwhile?

Thank you [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION]. It's a beast of an illness isn't it? And unlike Tully's mother, mine is at least elderly. On the up side, she has lots of nice surprises :)

I would say the first three series are just about the best TV I've ever seen. Try the first ep…I bet you want more.

My pleasure! Dag that I am I also spent an hour or so this afternoon reviewing books on Amazon, so I'm always good for reading recs too.:( I love The Tudors too by the way.

If she got that kebeb from the same place I usually get mine in Newtown I'm surprised it made it into the backstreets. It'd be in my belly by now.

i just realised who that girl is and she doesn't sound too friendly. i think you're right, her dimples are a decoy and then she attacks the grass with a machete
 
it is so upsetting knowing that Tim and Brydie were at the 'Big Prawn' together. it shuts down my 'ship' of him and Tully, like the anchor dropped and it ain't going nowhere, haha. they seem so well suited too, i am serious. love a love/hate relationship, so sexy. what's in my drink again?

I think you need to step away from that drink immediately! I can't imagine a worse a pairing…I'm not sure who would come out of it in one piece.

Lol can't say I could picture Tim and Tully but if it makes you feel any better my Tim/Brydie road trip spec might be wrong. I just added 2 + 2 but instead of getting 4 I might have gotten 7485927274.

She has only ever spoken positively about him, but he is a man carrying a heavy load…and he's not a woman.

please don't tell me Australia has 2 big prawn attractions, that would, or if it's true, is embarrassing. it would be like 2 PMs in the one party in the one term. i'll just continue my whittling folks, yeehaw

It is. My mother wouldn't mind if I called and asked her to Skype even though it's 5:30 in the morning where she is, right?
