I think you raise a good point about how the group power dynamics impacted on their behaviour. For me though I couldn't imagine Heidi ever becoming more humble given how she reacted when Jazz and Caleb were evicted. I could only imagine that getting worse had have she been around when Tully and Matt left as well. The self-entitled arrogance of that group to form that ridiculous mutiny against Tim was still the dumbest thing I saw the entire series. I remember a clip where she was telling Ed that Jade wasn't allowed to be told about their mutiny because she was too stupid to see what Tim was doing and would screw it up for them. That in itself I found ridiculous because I think Jade had a much better read on Tim than anyone in the mutiny group did. I just couldn't get over the self-entitled arrogance of the woman. It was her way or the highway, and anyone who didn't see it that way (including the public) she labeled as clueless idiots.

I felt sorry for Mikkayla at the start, and I do think some of her later nastiness stemmed from bitterness she was still carrying from the beginning. Ironically though, as good as Tim was to Mikkayla, I also think that friendship was bad for her because I think it gave her a sense of security that bred arrogance and a feeling that she didn't need to be nice to anyone she didn't want to because she was "safe". I still think deep down that she didn't actually like Jade, the Sisters or Ben as people but she more liked what they did for her.

I know Heidi left earlier than mikkayla, but I still think she was mean spirited too. She made her opinion known to everyone and mostly everyone gave her that power and I personally think she abused it. To me, she said a lot but was mostly rubbish.

Her and mikkayla are on par IMO.

Yeah you're probably right about Heidi not changing as I just remembered her reaction when she was evicted. I think only Ed was more confident that he wouldn't be evicted when he was sitting on the bench with Jade... in fact I think both of them would've secretly emptied their accounts at a bookie on them being safe if they could've done so. I guess the difference for me between her and Mikkayla is that we know the public was actively trying to get Heidi's group out - even though Ed managed to keep escaping - so it was only a matter of time for her. Whereas Mikkayla not only had Tim's armour for awhile but she surrounded herself with people that weren't as controversial and/or boring like the pot plants.

Actually I think I agree with your entire comment. Mikk did seem to gain a false sense of confidence from her 'friendship' with Tim which fueled her behaviour as time went on. I also think she surrounded herself with yes men/women who she believed she was more intelligent than. At least for her though she did show some signs of having a brain whereas I can't remember any instance where Heidi showed any level of intelligence, book smart or street wise. For all the talk about Boog being a big bogan, I think Heidi was the most stereotypical one of all and I think her insecurity about her body was a big reason she couldn't stand Jade. Tahan had a boyfriend, Tully had a girlfriend and then there was Jade who was flirting with a couple of the guys at the start. I think that really provoked a lot of jealousy from both Heidi and Jazz and Heidi especially targeted her for it. And that whole mutiny thing was so horrifically embarrassing for each of the people involved, I'm glad for Jade's sake Heidi excluded her. Just thinking of that promo Ch 9 kept running of Tully in the DR saying "this is war" or whatever the f it was makes me still cringe in second-hand embarrassment for her.

JA Team - the female cousin follows Jade, I think I even remember her commenting a few times. She also follows Tully, but no other HM's.

You know, I had zero faith in Jade and Ed having a relationship and was very vocal about it but I still expected that if we were to get confirmation of it 'ending', it would've been from one/both of them. Not from some passive aggressive chick on Insta. As a long time fan (and probably an abuser) of the "haha", I'm tempted to go comment on her account that she can shove them up her arse. "Tell Jade I said hi?" Why not grow some balls and tag Jade so you can tell her yourself you fucking nitwit.
