Would it really be so hard for the producers to require contestants to have their partners and families sign agreements to not offer or promote offers of goods or services as inducements to vote?

That might be one way around it but I can't see Ch9 putting such constraints in place, especially since it could mean a reduction in the number of votes coming in...revenue. Hence, my ridiculous suggestion to put all the HM's on a level playing field.

I see what you're saying, that both Jade and Tim had none of this forced hype or advertising in order to get them to the end. I hope BB can find a way around the unfair advantage that could potentially see a HM winning due to Corporate support.

haha that would be a funny game for a slow day in here... suggest the perfect sponsor for each of the HMs.

I see what you're saying about whether a business should throw their support behind a HM but then I guess the question becomes where would the producers draw the line while not actively discriminating against someone? If I worked for a small to medium size business would they be allowed to support me? Or my local firefighting house or AFL team? It doesn't seem fair if a HM isn't allowed to have support simply because that support is deemed too big (which might not even translate to votes) whereas others can. I think the decision should just rest with the business or celebrity themselves as they're taking a risk of alienating non fans of that HM and copping backlash by actively promoting them so that would have to be considered also. If they decide they still want to support them - and I still question how valuable that really is as far as turning into real votes - then I think they should be able to. If a corporation plunked down big money on votes for someone - ftr I don't think any business would be stupid enough to do this - then I'd be the first in line complaining but then we could argue that having wealthy family or friends can have the same result, especially when it's already been done successfully before albeit through a loan. Muddy waters on this one.

This Suzette person was on BB Canada. I've noticed a few BBUS and BBCAN people tweet about things to do with BBAU. Why do these north American BB people think that the BBAU contestants know who they are or even care about this so called BB family. It is a completely different game. You don't see people who were on BBUK tweeting the BBAU HMs (correct me if I am wrong).

Anyway just thought I would post this considering that things are fairly quite today and like [MENTION=34018]littlebear[/MENTION] and [MENTION=34950]crimmy[/MENTION] I am also bored.
