I think I have a massive internal heating issue with my body. Unless it's 30+ degrees outside and I'm sitting in the sun, I'm very rarely hot and the same goes for bedtime. And I don't often get the chance to sleep alone so when I do, I bundle up. Even on the hottest summer night if I go to bed in say a bra and undies, I'll still have to sleep with a blanket on me so I'm thinking it's partly for warmth but also for comfort. I used to do the one leg outside of the quilt thing in my teens but somewhere along the line it changed. If you saw the onesie I have on right now you'd piss yourself. It's full on fluffy material, complete with ears on the head. Total polar bear action happening here.
I just think you're strange

I never really slept with a blanket as a child, I always kicked it off because of the summer heat plus I suffered from irritable skin due to allergies, so I hate having too much on me, because I'll feel like something is crawling on my skin (even now in my adult life). As an adult I like the comfort if a quilt though, but I need to feel like my skin breathes at the same time and feel the need to be free.
