I'm guessing this one was taken before Tully's. But can someone tell me why the floor is always sticky after they drink a lot there? #shelteredlyf

Drinks getting spilled during a party.......Basically a lot of really sloppy drunk people were at his place last night...

I know when I went to a few fraternity parties in college where my friend was a member where hundreds of people would show up....you would not believe how disgusting the floors were after with the disgusting stuff people spilled or did when they were drunk...

That wasn't a slight shot. "I HATED Boog!" with the comments that followed were spiteful and demeaning. It's all so high school. Were Tim someone less intelligent I might give him the benefit of the doubt, but his "unfiltered" comments are just as calculated as they were in the house. The only thing is he's not playing a game anymore.

My theory is that continuing to make these unfiltered comments is to prove the point that he can compete with the likes of Kyle Sandilands. Controversial, uncensored, shock jock style. It's one thing to get a radio gig such as The Bump Show, which seems like a music request line style of segment...it's quite another to land a prime time radio show. I think TodayFM are letting Tim get his feet wet with this latest offer and will see how he measures up.

Interesting theory.

He really hasn't missed taking stabs at the other HMs lately has he? I mean it's not surprising but you really do have to wonder if all of the HMs are the ones who want to stay out of his life and not the other way around.

It's funny. When I read all this stuff I agree that he's been pretty horrible to everyone since leaving the house BUT when I watch the clip on Today I can't help but smile, laugh and enjoy Timmy! LOL!

Is that normal?

Thanks for this! Definitely helps to hear the tone and context of a conversation. From some of the comments in here I had a completely different impression of what he had said!

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I think it's normal. To be honest I think that was/is the secret of Tim's popularity. He'll do or say something rude or nasty, but two minutes later he'll so something entertaining or sweet and people forget about the bad stuff. The comments in that interview weren't nearly as bad now that I've seen the context/tone as well.

I must admit it's crossed my mind too. But the thought of anyone wanting to emulate Kyle Sandilands is a tad off-putting ;)

Just a little, which is rather sad if it's true. Tim stood for so much more in the house, and I'm giving him the benefit here.

Yeah, me too. I didn't see this first interview (only heard what was said on here) and it certainly doesn't sound as bad when it's in tone and context. I still think he could ease up a bit (for instance the tone in the "I HATE BOOG" didn't justify that one IMO), but in this instance it wasn't quite as bad as it was made to sound with just the quotes.

TBH I thought the interviewer was the nastier of the two. Tim's comments were OK (unnecessary anecdote but not as bad as I had expected) but the interviewer's description of Jade was nasty and not needed - she could have just asked about Jade and Ed (or even about Tim and Jade ), if that is what she was wanting to get at
