In what way [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION]? What sort of people would take it the wrong way? The fact that Ed is able to engage in this gives me hope for him and Boogs I would think is non-threatening and (unlike say Jasmine).

The crazies that are all over social media hounding Ed for any little spec of info regarding whether he and Jade are "official". Not saying I personally have an issue with it, but still it's probably not his smartest move given the current speculation.

I agree that it's good seeing him be "natural". He usually comes across very awkward around pretty much everyone so it's good seeing he can be like that with Boog. He's always liked her.

Boogs looks cute, although that outfit looks big on her.

Okay now for the comments, yeah it sounds like flirting. But I don't have an issue with it. If anything it makes ed look like he can have a little fun and not take it all seriously. But given the speculations surrounding jade, probably timing wise not the wisest move.

It would be a great pity if he had to stop this. I think it shows a genuine warmth, which we rarely saw in the house. Maybe because it's not face to face he's less self conscious. And perhaps I'm misreading what you initially said but you suggested Boog should not 'engage in banter/borderline flirting'? I understand what you're saying about Ed, although I don't agree, but Boog is a different matter IMO.

Yep exactly. Unfortunately though I don't think the crazy tweens would see it as that ( a bit of fun which is good for Ed).

I'm not having a stab at Boog at all. Just saying that if she engages in it by playing along online and letting Ed post pics of her like the one he did of her wearing the stockings at the Christmas shoot she'll probably cop a bit of flack from the crazies given the Ed/Jade speculation. I just wouldn't want her or Ed to cop any hate because people make a big deal out of nothing and can't see it for what it is.
 
if she was looking hot and he made those comments it might be a bit flirty, but she was dressed as a tiger so i think it's safe to say it was completely innocent. And to think some people thought he didn't like pussy ;)
 
Jade is a absolutely a family-oriented girl. So adorable!

This photo reminds me of her holding the snake in BB's House. Such a brave girl!

I think ed is going to continue having speculations around him because he can't let go of public perception. Once he can IMO, by just acting the way he would, I do think the speculating won't be as bad. I say this because he comes across as a person who only acts on motives to either keep up an image or to prove that he is something he may not be. So in a way, although the back and forth flirting happened, it's a good thing IMO, because like prufrock suggested, it does add a warmth to him and makes him look more genuine. I know the timing is off surrounding jade, but I think this a good thing for ed. He seems relaxed, up for some fun and not so winded up

As a reader of most things Boog, I check out the comments on the photo…not a nasty peep. Instead Boog gets the nasties coming out to play when she poses with Tully.

Pretty much the same with Drew. Pics without Tully is nearly all positive. Pics with Tully and out come the crazies.

That's good to hear. Not with the nasties with her Tully pics obviously, but that she doesn't cop it for any Ed stuff.

And the sad thing is that if they were really fans of Drew they would lay off. He said in that article that it upsets him when people bash Tully. I wonder how long he will put up with it, he's already shown to be protective and willing to bite back at them.
