That's not against anyone in particular, but it's happened to me on the other thread about 4 times now. Am I not allowed to post in the other thread or about the other HMs? Sometimes I kinda feel like people see us visitors on this board. It's frustrating because I always try to be respectful and not be too biased, but that's hard to do when it feels like people intentionally bring up your support of Jade like it's supposed to be some negative against you.

Also I never bring her into discussions unless I read something I strongly disagree with (i.e. the people saying she's unhealthy), but then again I would have reacted like that if they had have said it about any of the HMs.

So I don't see why Jade or our support for her should be brought up consistently as a way to devalue our opinions. I think the majority of the Jade supporters that post here are pretty respectful and are open for discussion, so it's sad to see such an unwelcoming attitude.

[MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION], when I read the first post, I realised it was around the time you and I was discussing drew. Then when I read the second quoted post, the highlighted part, I realised in my post about drew I brought up that I had seen the jade thread and how jade fans want to see jade succeed and other things and I was doing that as well. You hadn't posted to anyone else on this thread at that time, it was only to me around that time and my comments add up to your second post above. So it's not hard to believe that it would be about me.

I was agreeing with [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION] regarding the strangeness of being told I'm a visitor in a thread he posted in multiple times. It's weird to me when l've been posting in multiple threads all series. I have enjoyed numerous interactions with various members here, we haven't always agreed, but those posters know that l also respect them and their opinions. People have differences of opinion all the time and we may bicker a little then get over it. It was not them who made me feel unwelcome - the comment made to me just makes it awkward. Anyway, if you'd read what l wrote my point was l just wanted to have fun and share thoughts without an us and them scenario . Anyway, anyone who wants to question or wants my thoughts can PM me. Peace.

I won't lie Geeky, your comments did bring up those feelings again, however they certainly weren't what made me comment/rant in the other thread. Like I said, it had happened around 4 times previously (and that's just to me - seems like every other poster there has a similar or far worse experience). I wouldn't have been offended by what you said at all had have there not already been a trend.

So apologies if you thought I was going after you with my original post. Certainly not the case. Yours was more the extremely tiny straw that broke the camel's back.

I know you and I don't agree on a great deal anymore, but I still really respect you as a poster.

If someone's PM'ing you nasty shit, click the report a post icon in the message so a mod knows. Seriously. Nothing like that should ever be happening, least of all when the f'n show isn't even on anymore.

I wasn't around in this thread much when it was only about the two showmances as while I was somewhat interested, there was so much fighting in here - and the same fighting over and over and over - that I just couldn't be bothered as it'd been done to death when the show was on. Which I think is why people so wholeheartedly jumped on the whole "let's talk about all the HMs" thing so that during the downtime between showmance updates, people wouldn't be going at each other like an episode of Mob Wives and their attention would be on something new about someone else. And it must be working because look at the view count of this thread! It's actually astonishing considering it hasn't even been around for a month.

The only time there ever seems to be a problem in here is when someone seems to take personal offense at what was said about a HM or isn't willing to engage in a discussion about why the sun might not shine out of any of their asses and instead just says "y'all are XYZ haterzzzzzzzz" blah blah blah. That stuff sucks because I actually think the people who post in here are really quite level-headed for the most part and willing to see or at least learn about why someone else feels the way they do. But even if people can't eventually see eye-to-eye and do get into a stoush they don't carry it on when the next "exciting" update happens. You should never feel like you're unwanted or unwelcome anywhere least of all in here. It's just a thread with updates about all of the HMs. Nothing else.

I haven't felt there was any problem with you and lovrbb in this thread gemini gets a little aggro about matters involving Jade sometimes and Pookie is batshit crazy IMO

How? I said we're both obsessive and peculiar. The accusations run both ways. I just ventured over there and it's not all bad. I actually agree with what some of them are posting and enjoy a lot of the posters opinions and I do hope that they don't stop posting here. It's not cool that people are messaging you nasty crap, we're all here for a reason, we want to keep up to date with our favourite housemates lives post BB, and we all have our different favourite.

And [MENTION=31088]Insomniac[/MENTION], you are right, I should have said person, not people. Don't worry about the weird thing, I'm as weird as the come, we just have to own that.

No kidding... where are all the Tim groupies?! Come out, come out wherever you are... and maybe take a few shifts of posting his daily late night Twitter sessions so my post count doesn't continue to skyrocket. Between posting updates in the LF thread and now this one, I'm going to have to ask forum Tim to roll my count back before the next season starts just to maintain some sense of pride amongst the newbies.

You will be happy to know I'm reading Tim wintons, dirt music. I downloaded the sample on my iPad and called my library to see if they can have it ready for me to borrow this Saturday :)

Nah, you'd just say you're going to see your GP, or that you're heading to the doctors. If you said you were going to see your glittery prostitute, someone would most likely try to send you to see a doctor though....

Yay! I'm almost envious of you..the first time reading a book you love is awesome. I'm reading Christos Tsolkias' Barracuda and loving it too.
