Basically you take photos in the app and send them to your friends with a time limit, you can only view them for up to 10 seconds and then they are deleted forever, unless someone takes a screenshot (and snapchat will tell you if they did). It basically started as a way for people to send naked photos of themselves and sext with people without any evidence left behind, now people use to to 'snap chat' have conversations through photos.

To both of you... I am sorry you took my post to be "preaching" or nauseating and patronising. I can assure you that I wasn't meaning to be, and I made an attepmt in the beginning of my post, to alert posters to the fact that I only reply to comments, not to attack the poster. To this end I use everything at my disposal, emotey's, words, bracketing etc to try to ensure this doesn't happen. Tone is very hard to get across with the written word. So is "intent'

I will come in here when I am motivated to post, though, as I have said before on other posts, I am more of a lurker. I Apologised for my oversight as far as not addressing individual posters go. This will not happen again. I am not the kind of person to have my place in this or any other forum dictated to. I ignore flamming and again just try to keep it about topics.

I also need to state I am at work and cannot answer as quickly as I want.

I believe my initial replied contained the word nauseating, I added patronising a few minutes later.

Yeah, it drives me nuts. So the girl is skinny, leave her alone! I hate how people constantly feel the need to comment on weight. Mikk had the same thing but the other way. The only difference is that people will comment on skinny people in public. I'm so sick of being told by random strangers that I'm too skinny and need to eat more. FFS what she looks like has no baring on who she is as a person, and especially since she seems to have issues surrounding food, I don't know why people would be so cruel.

She was a lot nicer compared to me when my husband did the same thing, evidently I wasn't mean enough because he's done it 3 times.

I must admit I was shocked how skinny and jutting her hips were, that isn't healthy but it would never occure to me to attack or critise her its not like she would change.

That's how pretty much every lean person looks when they're laying down/stretched out. I'm the same way. Sure, you might not look healthy in that position, but that doesn't mean that you're not healthy.

Yeah it's a pretty touchy subject for me too although I've become better at handling it as I've gotten older. I'm the exact opposite of a comfort eater and I'm fairly tall with a small frame as it is, so if there's something stressful going on in my life or I'm just busy, I shed weight pretty quickly and the comments start flying. Unless it's said with obvious malice or from a total stranger, I just try to convince myself that the person is coming from a good place and doesn't mean any harm. Still can be rather hurtful though. Fair enough if someone feels compelled to comment on her weight but doing it in a place she's guaranteed to see/hear it is just uncalled for.

Road tripping with my favourite ice cream since I was a kid- Bubble O' Bill!

Couple of things.
1. Bubble O Bill is seriously one of the best.
2. How can she be wearing a leather cap in this heat?
3. It only takes 2 and a half hours or so to get to Sale, they must have left later.
4. Drew seems to have learned to look at the petrol gauge.

Couldn't agree more re Jade and Mikk's weight. I work in this field and going just by photo's and not knowing their weight, fat ratio and BMI... they look more then healthy to me. Eating issues/disorders (not saying either of them have them) are becoming increasingly seen in people, especially teenagers. I loathe it as well as I do the reducing of 'a persons value' to numbers on a scale or a photo snapshot.

Overweight people cop it in public too I'm afraid; I was just talking with a client yesterday whom is overweight (medically speaking) and the other day she was spat on. Yes... I said "spat on". Why? Because a man thought she was taking too long to push her trolley through the electric doors of Woolies; he added for affect "Get out of the way you fucking fat pig" Charming. NOT!

I've had food issues in the past, and I tend to deal with stress by not eating which isn't good. My BMI hovers on the line between underweight and normal but my Dr isn't very worried and I consciously make sure that I meet my Kilojoule targets. I'm healthy, eat a mostly balanced diet, I certainly don't starve myself and I'm sickly. I hate that all people see of me is my weight.

I can't believe that poor woman was spat on! How revolting, there are truly some horrendous people in this world. As for the comments, I more meant that random people will tend to stop me and sometimes deign to touch me(!), poke at my ribs or hips and tell me that I need to put on weight, whereas they tend not to poke a fat person in the belly and tell them they are obese and should lose a few kgs. I get it everywhere, they'll grab my arms or even my collarbone and tell me they could snap me, or tell me to stop running if I'm out exercising. People have no idea about the state of my health, I run because it's good for my bones and to gain much needed muscle mass (I'm weak as shit). Most of the time I roll my eyes and try to ignore it, but sometimes I bite back, especially if they touch me. It's just so not okay to comment on anyones appearance in public, any aspect of it.

I'm pretty sure that video is from last Friday, when they were driving down from Sydney. Tully is in a different outfit and the comment with it (Attempting another road trip, hopefully today goes better than last Friday) made me assume it was what happened last time.

She has also changed her shirt? In Drew's video she was wearing a black one and in this photo she is wearing a pink one.
Re: petrol gauge - if this was taken after the breakdown I'm surprised that she has let him drive again :p

Her brother Scotty commented "Need one Tulls" (one of the ice creams i assume)
Dougal commented "Love you tilly", she replied "@dougalmedley Shut up Dougal!" - I wonder if Dougal came and rescued them? :p

Edit: Ah I suppose you could be right about the video being from the other day
 
When they went from Sydney to Melbourne she was wearing a white top? So on at least one car trip she must have got changed

I probably would have gotten changed too if I had been stuck sitting in the heat waiting to be rescued. I also think it was from last Friday cause you can see an instagram photo on her phone and I'm assuming this is when she took the photo of her feet hanging out the side of the car when it was parked on the side of the freeway (http://instagram.com/p/hAFX8wi5Jk/) also in the next photo she is wearing the same clothes as the video. (http://instagram.com/p/hAF5nzC5KO/ - Man my super sleuthing skills are on the up)

haha [MENTION=34877]rj1[/MENTION], well, you know what they say about great minds. But I do sometimes feel a tad creepy that my sleuthing is getting so good. They are as bad as BBHQ with their posting stuff out of order, Tully is certainly very clever when it comes to posting where they are right as they are about to leave, that girl has a very good head on her shoulders.
