I have a sense of humour, I've had lots of fun on this forum. I can even disagree with someone and find them incredibly funny the next moment!
l came back to you and said to you it's cool I understand, not that I agreed with you, or 'saw the light' as you say it, because I don't agree with you, but that I understood where YOU were coming from.
l'm not the one on my high horse gees, unbunch your panties and show that sense of humour you're talking about.

I definitely liked Boog for Tim - his tone and everything changed around her - it was nice to see him focus on her rather than himself for once lol

I think Tim and Boog are too similar, they would kill each other if they were in a relationship. Tim is very similar to Jade in a lot of aspects, but at the same time they have two opposite energy levels, which is good for a relationship, because you can find the perfect balance between them.

she laughs and has fun with Tim and he pushes her to go a little out of her comfort zone which is great for her
with Ed she tries to live up to his rule book persona and doesn't move from that

In this instance I'm speaking more as a teacher than as an Australian. I hated John Howard, but admired his balls after Port Arthur.

Yeah don't you just love it over there when your standing at a makeup counter in Macys and the lady next to you is searching through her bag and pulls out a gun and puts it on the counter, gets her wallet and then just puts the gun back in.....I go to the US twice a year and still it freaks me out...lol..

No, no. I did mean most Americans with half a brain, which personally I struggle to think of as "most" of the population of any given country, haha. I feel very strongly about gun control issues and hate the U.S. gun culture with a passion, which is why I don't find it a particularly funny stereotype, I guess. When we first moved here, I can't tell you how many people we met who were actually stunned to learn that neither my partner nor I had ever used a gun, let alone owned one. Just refused to believe it. Anyway, sorry to veer off the track there. Slow night is right.
 
I think Tim and Jade maKe great friends. They're not suited romantically though.
She's a great listener and is loyal and supportive, which Tim appreciates, and Tim brings out her fun side.
So in that sense I hope they stay friends

I have friends who have moved here from the US as a protest against the gun culture, but I promise I know enough not to stereotype everyone. That said, I must admit the failure to act over health care and guns saddens me a lot. I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear though that there are plenty of things here that make me embarrassed to be Australian sometimes. We are none of us perfect ;)

I will leave the topic of this alone as I don't want to drag it on. But I'm glad that you don't feel like the only one anymore :)
