Yes. Different courses for different horses. I will admit, you never really do get feet so black as when you go supermarket shopping barefoot. I guess growing up in Aus though it's just never bothered me, we just shower all the beach and grime off us when we get home. We're also lucky that we have an outdoor shower. My mother is still horrified and embarrassed though, to know she has a daughter who does her shopping in bare feet and bathers.

On the topic of JadEd's film. I can honestly say if I were hanging out with Ed I would too prefer an activity that required no talking whatsoever, the man bores me to tears.

I'd just like to think if that was my daughter and he's thinking he's sleeping over he'd at least buy some flowers, spring for takeaways and have a picnic on the beach ... something slightly more romantic than popcorn, chocolate & Shrek :S
AND that he wouldn't broadcast what they MIGHT be getting up to without a bit more subtlety involved ...

I guess I think Jade's worth a bit more of an effort on his behalf ...

It just feels that no matter what , its always the wrong thing. Like here, they're spending a night in. Just when I think surely there can't be a problem with that -no, he should be taking her out to dinner. And not trying to be argumentative here either, I can express my opinion on how I see it as well. I thought we'd all established that people can say what they like l don't expect anyone to stop, just like I don't feel it's fair for you to want me to do so either.

I want to state up front that I agree with those who say Jade seems like a nice girl, but seriously, wouldn't she bore you to tears too? It doesn't mean she isn't sweet, but what makes you think Jade wouldn't be boring?

But you're the same if someone says something about Tim. Like I said yesterday I felt that you and I came to an understanding a while ago and I don't actually take offence to anything you write. I don't expect to always agree with it though just like I don't expect everyone to agree with me. We should be able to interact without being labeled things like 'jade lover' and basically be told not to be here or say anything. Everyone should be able to say what they want and I do even if I know I'm in the minority about something.

Ummm, maybe not the picnic tonight, it is some bad weather up that way I believe, really bad....like thunderstorms hail etc.

Um, I never said that she was interesting, or wouldn't bore me to tears. I stated that if I were with Ed, I'd want to be doing an activity that required minimal talking. I didn't mention her at all. Jade seems sweet, and I do think she'd be better to have a conversation with than Ed, although that is not saying much. We didn't get much out of her in the house due to her infatuation with Ed, but she has far more potential for half-way decent conversation than he does, if not simply because she can enunciate her words properly.

for the record (in case you missed it!) I DON'T think Ed is anywhere near good enough to lick the soles of Jade's feet - but if he makes her happy well & good ...

but call me old fashioned - the guy could buck up and put in a bit of effort!!!!

I found Jade equally as dull as Ed, but at least a lot more genuine. So they are well suited in my mind.
I didn't really see any genuine love from Jade either during the show. I always got the impression she had a tick list of what made a perfect guy and Ed ticked the boxes so she decided she was going to have him regardless of feelings.
I can't be 100% sure but didn't she ask one of the HMs (Tully?) what was Drew and Eds earning potential?

It really depends who she is with ... when she's with Ed she seems to think she needs to be different ... and in the house that included the rule booking stuff ... and the obsessiveness ... yet when she's with Tim (and to a lesser degree with Drew) she relaxes and genuinely looks happier ... I don't know where she got this idea Ed should be up on a pedestal ... I guess the whole "prince charming" label at the start of BB and the girls all sighing over the bod did it ....
