Aww--I wondered how long it would be before Drew cracked it at a hater. It must be awfully hard to resist.

He certainly has a way with words. Jade picked the wrong guy.

At least he's sticking up for her - drew's reply about tully to the hater on instagram, that is
Yeah, obviously it's probably best to just not even engage with lunatics, but how much can a person take? Some of these people really blow my mind with what they'll do from behind a computer, and how proud of it they seem to be. I mean, imagine going up to a 6'2" guy with those arms and telling him his girlfriend's feral and disgusting.

He didn't want Jade....She wouldn't have gotten him no matter what.
I love the choice of words Drew uses, good on him for sticking up for Tully,Aww--I wondered how long it would be before Drew cracked it at a hater. It must be awfully hard to resist.

Good on Thalia for having her say, I hope she got paid for her story
People continue to judge his handling of the relationship based on a clip before they got together, and ignore everything else that actually happened. The first time when he mumbled about not wanting to share a bed was because he had agreed to sharing a bed and so was a bit awkward, cut him some slack and stop using this as the example of all he ever did. They were still not doing anything at that point. They still didn't know each other. He didn't know why she wanted to share a bed, if she take it as a sign that they belonged to each other.
What clip? I wasn't even referring to the clip of him awkwardly backtracking about sharing a bed early on. I'd forgotten about that. I was referring to the numerous other times he told his mates he felt nothing but jumped into her bed and kissed her. I don't care what he and Jade talked about. He knew how strongly she felt about him. If he wasn't keen he should have told her staight out to stop, not make her fall harder by kissing her and sleeping in her bed.
Just speaking of that clip of Ed backtracking: funny how on the last daily show we saw the real footage and it was actually Ed that told her to share a bed with him (leading to the kiss). Funny how that was edited out to make it look like Jade's idea when it originally aired.

I disagree. From what I could tell, he was smitten by Jade the moment he saw her. Tully, not so much.

Exactly. I never understand why haters 'follow' the people they don't like on instagram or twitter, only to post how 'feral' or 'stupid' they are.

Oh boy..I know this has been discussed a bunch but....Just want to set the record straight...
He admitted he had a crush on Jade when he first went in (she's a pretty girl...most guys would as well)...He then later on said he found that they had nothing in common and said during the marriage task that he was terrible at it b/c he preferred to hang out with Tim...he also said that he was so glad he didn't try anything with her later on
He didn't try anything with Tully at first b/c she was taken (obviously he's physically attracted to her as well)......He then found himself hanging out with Tully more and said he could talk to her for hours (more of an intellectual connection...they're both intelligent people...not surprising) and they enjoyed spending time around each other so much that they alienated themselves from the group..then it turned into a full blown affair
Obviously even after Tully left Jade and him didn't reconnect b/c they had no real connection.....It just wasn't in the cards...

So your setting the record straight because you are Drew? Or because you said so and that's how it is?
Try and see it from both points of view. Drew said all that stuff that you mentioned AFTER Jade had snubbed him for Ed. Very easy to change your tune when you are perhaps a little bitter/jealous. And Jade and Drew had a very strong connection - it's just other people (Ed, Tully) got in and are continuing to get in the way of it.

I don't think it matters whose idea it was. It didn't happen. I think it was actually a dare from the others. But before wrong ideas were given he stopped it. They still didn't know each other or what the other would take from it. This is what I've seen a number of people use as his only action into setting her straight. You said he mumbled a few things. If you didn't mean this I don't know what you mean because he didn't mumble when they had the proper talk before anything happened. Jade understood and agreed nothing serious would have happen, she said that's what she wanted.
There was an episode where Jade told BB and others that she undoubtedly knew 100% that Ed still didn't want anything serious. She said she avoided talks with him because she was sick of him reminding her. We might not have seen all the talks he had but Jade made it clear that she never led her on. She said that she wanted more but hid it from so he wouldn't be scared off.
The fun that they were having was agreed by both. Jade said she wanted nothing more to him. It was her decision. She chose not to be upfront and tell him how she really felt. All obsessing was done behind his back - he was never aware of just how obsessive she was. We were because we could see her obsessing behind his back.

I'll respectfully disagree with that, I think Drew adores Jade and the two were put in there and in that situation because they were supposed to be matched.Oh boy..I know this has been discussed a bunch but....Just want to set the record straight...

It's irrelevent now, but yeah I think he really liked her.

Oh I don't doubt his feelings for Tully. I just think that if Jade had of shown interest in him when the sham ended, the Tully relationship wouldn't have had a chance to get going. I guess I would think differently if Drew confessed that the marriage task was hard due to after laying eyes on Tully he struggled to hide his interest. She wasn't on his radar in the beginning.
I think his statement of dodging a bullet with Jade was due to her stalker like approach and delusions of Ed, not to mention her changed personality influenced by Ed. When Ed left, Drew saw Jade come back to life, this pleased him and it was obvious that he did care for her.
I'm not saying it would have worked out, I'm saying what happened so soon with Tully is a consequence of what didn't happen with Jade. Certainly, Drew and Tully could have hooked up eventually on the outside if it was meant to be, but I think initially it was Jades call as to whether or not there was going to be a BB 'Drade' romance between them. He looks happy with who he ended up with in the end, no doubt.
I'll respectfully disagree with that, I think Drew adores Jade and the two were put in there and in that situation because they were supposed to be matched.

I think if Tully was single coming in, Ed was not in the house, and they were not assigned the marriage task....basically meaning he had the choice of Tully or Jade coming in with no impediments or nudges towards anyone...I think he would've gone straight for Tully (JMO).
I think the Jade attraction was purely physical (and even if Ed wasn't there would've died out in a week or two)...the Tully was physical and emotional and intellectual and still came through even though she had a GF....
I guess basically I just have a disagreement with the statement that he would've gone for Jade if she wanted him...I think in his view (JMO) Tully was always the greater prize than Jade....but circumstances prevented it initially...
(and obviously we will disagree on this...I was way more of a fan of Tully than Jade...while you're way more of a fan of Jade than Tully....but this is something I don't think either of us will budge on)...

Ha! Not quite a grammar lesson, but I won't go there![]()

I'll go there ;-).....
What an unforeseen eventuality!

What an imbroglio!

I agree 100%. Drew even admitted to having a little crush on Jade.
I do think Drew had a crush on Jade to begin with, but nothing in comparison to his feelings for Tully now.
I honestly hope those crazy kids can make it work. It looks to me like there are genuine feelings there.
As for Ed/Jade - I hope she wakes up to him soon and realises she can/deserves to do better.

I haven't been able to get my hands on a full copy of the story yet but in it Tahlia says this - "who gets married after nine weeks I feel sorry for her".
OK. I'm thinking there's no way she actually said that.
