camerashy, I clearly fail at reading hashtags, I thought you said you can't lick your user pic ... you can, you know

Jazz looks awesome, but I don't think I'd consider her 'curvy' or that she should be in any way insecure about her body. I wonder what the shots will be used for or if it's to build a portfolio. Her hair is amazing.

Regards Drew, I think he and his friends tend to make pop culture references (games, films, music) and quote things a lot. The quotes aren't necessarily a reflection of his own feelings or where he is emotionally (almost directly opposed to how Tully seems to use quotes). I think Drew would have a great group of mates, and they will be helping him through if he's worried/upset about things.

Tully on the other hand ... not having seen her in action in the house (the shows I did watch were from her eviction onward), I can't comment on that aspect of things. What I do find disappointing (can I be disappointed in someone I don't know?) is how closely her and Drew's relationship status was kept, not for the fact they wanted some privacy or felt they didn't owe their fans anything, both of which would have been completely understandable, but that everything was kept completely quiet because of a stupid magazine deal. To me it just feels like a complete sell-out, but maybe that's all it ever was (if I choose to believe the cynics).

To me that is intensely calculating and whilst I hope Drew was across it and the agreement to do the article was mutual, I would also feel uneasy that the embargo on SM was (enforced by Tully?) simply because of a forthcoming magazine article. The 'Ask Tully' comment makes more sense now really. Sure, they don't owe us anything and indeed, the relationship would need time away from the public eye to become at all normalised, but ... I don't know, what a mess.

I can't help but feel that if the split was mutual, the timing of Drew's visit to Sydney (maybe trying to throw a last minute lifeline to the relationship) is awkward. I feel sad for them really, I don't know if Tully really did risk everything (I think she did to an extent), but I think it's also important to remember that relationships need to be worked on, and that includes conflict resolution. It's one thing to fight, but another to understand why you personally have a desire for conflict, drama and heightened sense of emotions. I hope Tully stays single for some time, I really think she needs to make some peace with herself and her situation (of course, I say that like I know her, but from the outside, I do relate to some of what she is doing and hope she finds some calm in amongst it all).

If they were both on board with the magazine article, I hope they had a really good grungy hotel hook up despite it.
Love this, especially the last sentence :)

I hope so too  I'd hate to think we wasted all that time last week speculating about their night in the hotel together.

Some of the people I've seen agree with Jo were the same ones I've seen say variations on the same thing she said (including her) well before the show ended. They also tried to say the same things in here a few times, especially at the beginning of this thread which feels like a lifetime ago now when it was just about the two couples and it all went to hell in a handbasket... hence why it was decided to focus on all the HMs so people weren't having the same arguments over and over. So I can't say I'm surprised to see them agreeing now. It's much easier to have those discussions when the forum is hopping and there are hundreds of people around with so many other threads to migrate to. But in a situation like this now it's sometimes easier just to keep quiet so you don't hurt someone's feelings or you can't be stuffed rehashing the same stuff repeatedly.

Despite how much Tully posts on SM and how much air time she got in this thread I feel she's one of the HMs I've learned the least about since getting out of the house. She barely interacts with fans, gives little to no insight into what she's trying to do careerwise, etc. I can tell you what she's wearing and eating on most days and that she loves to go out for a good time, but that's about it. That's one area where she could look to Tim, Tahan, Jade, Mikkayla and even Rohan and Xavier for some tips.

Jeeeezus christ some of your posts, honestly. Have you never heard of the fame game? Do you believe everything you read? Do you not understand the publicity train?

The best way to describe Drully right now would be "it's complicated". Until either one of them fucks someone else there's always a chance. Fact is they won't properly work unless they're in the same place, but right now neither of them are going to move. Tully has her 'ultimatum' and Drew is playing it right (IMHO).

Of course all this conjecture is based on my "psychic" powers so take it as you will ;)

Sorry, I hate when we blame other people for the decisions that are made. And I hate that we portray some housemates as victims (Jade, Drew, even Tim) and others as manipulative perpetrators. It denies the 'victims' individuality and ownership of their behaviour.

I would agree 100% if you removed the bracketed area. I don't think there is a unanimous opinion on who the "victims" and the "manipulative perpetrators" are.

is this a sober post? ;)

You are a goddess! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes - everything you say

is this a sober post? ;)

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA I'm still chuckling as I started writing this post. Scratch that I'm laughing even now :)

I may or may not have had some drinks tonight- hahaHASHAHAHAHAHHAA.

My psychic powers still stand :p

No, LoveBB, Drew risked his chances. He's a man not a boy and it was his call, just as it was Tully's regarding Tahlia. And whatever I thought of their relationship in the house, I don't believe for a second it was calculated.

YES. Any suggestion that he was the poor, weak victim of this manipulative woman is, in my frank opinion, absolute crap. I just can't see him that way, and I doubt he himself would deny that he had plenty of agency in the situation.

Yeah i know they are intelligent . No i did not know that sounds smarter than my dog lol. Ok dopey contrived as appealing as a refried beans fart in a spacesuit bb aus relationships described.

Can I ask a silly question, would Jazz be considered 'Plus Size' ? I realise she is not a 6/8, but I would have thought she was no more than 10 or a small 12. I say this because the model agency she tagged is for plus size models.

he wasn't a victim, he was weak and looked foolish.

Yes! Thank you! I hardly think I can be accused of coming out of the woodwork and gloating because I agreed with Jo-Bot when the whole reason I started getting into so much trouble with a couple of posters here was because I was suggesting something similar re Drew and Tully. I think the reduced member numbers here since the show finished must have something to do with it because I don't think it's surprising seeing that so many people actually see it that way when it was the predominate view here when the show was on. I understand that of the few of us remaining members the majority are pro-Drully and sometimes when you know your opinion is going to be very unpopular you just stop expressing it as much as you might want to.
