Just because you think she hasn't established any type of career (however, I do think modelling is a career) It doesn't mean she isn't hard-working. Doesn't matter what type of job you have or what you do, You can work hard at anything and put your all into it and I think Jade is that type of person.

I don't think she's established any kind of career. That's what I mean. She doesn't work hard at anything. She works in a BAR in BALLINA. She may have done some modelling in years gone by but she has not done any hard work for a LONG TIME! She puts her all into hoping it will happen TO her, not making it work herself!

and you missed my point. my point was it doesn't matter where she works, she can still be a hard-worker. Who says you have to make a career for yourself? She has a job and it may be a job she really loves doing. If that job is what makes her happy then why does it matter if it isn't a proper "career"
and anyway, she made Big Brother happen and she did quite well at it too.

You realise this is the exact opposite of how Ed described her in the house. He said that she'd changed his perspective on models because he thought they always had stuff handed to them but she hadn't, and that she had worked extremely hard for everything she's gotten. Also 'some modelling'? She was a well-regarded high fashion model who was flown around the world to work. I think the fact that she left this lifestyle that she felt was toxic to start from complete scratch to pursue her real dreams is admirable. This is the opposite of assuming something will happen to her - she actively changed her own life.

It seems like the issue is with the word IS hardworking....
She may be very hardworking outside the house...
She may not be...
I don't think anyone can judge if she's hardworking....even Ed doesn't know exactly how hard she is working at things...trying for her dreams, etc.
The rest however we can make reasonable assumptions on, I think we can say she IS pretty loyal (based on her nominations and actions in the house), I agree with family-oriented, kind (for the most part....she has her bitchy side for sure), and I would say objectively most people would find her beautiful...

If she was a well-regarded, high fashion model do you really think she would be living with her grandmother and working in a bar!!!?!? No. She had a few photo shoots (not high fashion, by the way), was on INTM and that's it. So she tried her luck on BB because nothing else was working... Seriously, the delusion level of Jade fans is astounding!

Yes Jade doesn't seem to think she can really handle what life has to throw at her alone and relies on her friendships with others so she can survive IMHO

It was because she didn't like the unhealthy aspects of the industry like other girls constantly starving themselves for their work. She felt that this was toxic and did not want to be a part of it any longer. After she left Italy she was pretty much broke having had to pay off her house and buy tickets back to Australia, hence why she was living with her grandparents - she literally had nothing. She was originally living rent free but she did what she could like cooking and cleaning to help out until she could afford to pay rent. I would say that indicates that she is hard working.
Also, what about how during high school she was working two jobs to help support her mother? She said she would go straight from school to one job, work there for a few hours, then go to her other job and work there til late at night. Personally i think it's astounding that people can't see that she IS a hard working person!

Didn't Jade work like 2 jobs whilst in high school to help support her mother? I am hazy on these details, but I have a vague memory of this.
Also, she is clearly very career oriented (in a good way) and I'm sure she is very committed and hard working when it comes to her acting, based on how much she wants it.

What we all did YEARS ago is irrelevant. I'm talking about now. She is 23 and has no career to speak of. Let's also remember Drew (and others) claiming that everything that comes out of Jade's mouth is a lie. Let the actions speak for her. She lives with her grandma and works in a bar. No "welll respected, high fashion model" works in a bar. Or has to live with their grandparents because they have no money.
She could have been hard-working then....and now is lazy....
Not necessarily true...just saying..
