That burger sounds amazing. Well my New Year's Day consisted of McDonald's for breakfast AND lunch so I can't it has been the healthiest year. Surely it's not fair to start these things on the actual first day of the year when there is the propensity to be a hungover mess, right? Just sometime within the first week (not today).
Maybe I should just take a page out of Ben's book insofar as resolutions. Seems ridiculously attainable slash pointless.
Yes! I am in full support of this.
jessy_girl Illabeth Jessabeth? I totally ship it. Now where is your instagram accounts...![]()
Yes, this sounds smart, I need at least a week to recover, therefore I don't have to eat anything green before the 7th. I shall ease myself into this with a smoothie, strawberries are yummy, and see how we go from there.
I think I need to add an easy pointless resolution to my harder ones, to eat more healthily and actually try to cut out gluten completely (This one makes me want to cry and I don't know if it will be possible, how will I cope without my cheeseburgers?). And to make it all the more sweet it shall be to buy something I really have always wanted. I'm not sure what it is yet, but I'll decide, and then I shall go out a buy it, and then I will feel good because I will have fulfilled successfully at least one of my resolutions.
Wow cutting out gluten sounds rough, but possibly necessary. I guess if the pickle on a burger counts I have already had my something green, but I can probably do better than that. Luckily I still have a few days to meet this unappealing goal. Now to think of something I want that I can resolve to buy. Sounds simple enough.
To bring it back vaguely on topic, I amazingly already have one up on Tully, it is a good 6 months now since I last had coke or in fact any soft drink (with the very occasional exception of a cocktail). Never thought I would healthier than someone.
That pool is amazing! This reminds me how much I love Byron and the whole Northern Rivers/Hinterlands and has actually inspired me to tee up a trip there. I am literally planning with a friend right now.

I usually agree with your posts Sparrow11, but some of the stuff you've written here I really disagree with, so much so that I felt required to respond when usually I just couldn't be bothered over this issue.
As Insomniac would say, a message can only be received if it was actually sent, and in this case it matters whether it was actually sent to the person that needed to hear it. What gives you the impression that Jade knew it? Also, what were all these signals he gave her that he wasn't keen? He made it obvious to the other HMs that he wasn't that keen, and that in turn told us that he wasn't that keen, but let's think about the message he was sending Jade here.
When I say Jade knew, I'm referring to the conversations she had with the other girls. She said many times, I know he doesn't really want to start anything in the house. I know he doesn't want to say we will be together after BB. He keeps saying we are not a couple. She told him she loved him, he didn't say it back, said he couldn't. She cried in the DR about what would happen to them when BB ended, I feel that she knew, but just kept hoping anyway.
Hopefully thats all over and she is noticing how many other fish there are in the sea. Like whoever that was on the beach.![]()
Didn't mean to upset Jade fans, but seemed like Ed was the only one getting blamed, and didn't think that was fair.
I remember windows 95. Even though we don't have the NBN the internet has improved heaps, I remember having to wait ages for website to load.
Come talk to me when you had to wait an hour for your game to load on tape cassette only to have it crash 90% of the way though loading.
On the generational thing I don't entirely understand how they are divided but yes the invent of the world wide web (not the internet) deserves it's own generational start point.
I suppose the next one could have something to hopefully do with clean/renewable energy or a "green" generation. I just pray there is never a post WW3 generation or a post world food shortage generation but I would imagine one or two child policies will fix that (as horrible as they are).
Wait what? You played games on cassettes? How did that work?
This is how we did it in the mid 80's lol

I am not a software programmer but I assume the game information was loaded from the tape to the computers RAM and ran from there, so like today's RAM it was just constantly overwritten so each new game had to be loaded every time and it would take anywhere from 20mins to over an hour for the bigger games.
EDIT - the thing on the right of the keyboard was the cassette player/reader which is where the games went.
