Looking at before and after pics, I'd prefer after. I don't mind the extensions when they are straight or lightly wavy, as it looks more her age. The before she looks older with that style and I don't know if jade suits short based on that pic because her hair is normally straight

I'm not a fan of extensions usually but her manager posted on the JA thread and said they had to chop a lot of her hair off because it got destroyed in the house so she needed the extensions for her modelling jobs.

P.s. I love that dress on Tahan but I wish they wouldn't slick her hair back like that. It makes her look quite harsh IMO but I get it's a modelling look.

The styling is definitely better than those flippin curls but I can't stand how you can see the separation between her real hair and the extensions. It's not just her - I say the same of any girl with thin hair that I see with them (and exactly why I never will get them unless I'm willing to spend the money to get them put in properly). Her real hair is still quite long... you can see it in all the pics as the extensions are so obvious... so to be honest, I'm not sure what her manager is on about. Fair enough if her hair is fried but they could've cut the extensions to the same length as her real hair so that she still gets the thickness and volume without it being so blatant. For some people extensions really work when they're cut and blended well but when they're not as in Jade's case it just looks ratty (in my opinion of course).
 
I think the slicked back wet hair look on tahan adds a futuristic feel to the photo. It also adds a confidence that empowers her more so IMO
 
I was going to go to the Square (Macarthur Square) today, but thought better of and decided to go early tomorrow morning. Now I am kicking myself because I would of possibly seen Jade there.

I think I'm back on the "I must be defective" train of thought again because I personally can't notice the separation too much. That in itself I find shocking because being around Jade's age myself, and knowing a lot of girls who have extensions, it's very rare that I see some where it's not that obvious (to me at least). I agree with [MENTION=35834]Sweet_Geek[/MENTION] that when they're straight and styled her own way they look much better than the illusion of her with shorter hair like we saw in that Aria pic. I don't think she suits short hair at all so I can see why they needed the extensions if she wants to keep getting jobs.

I'm kinda "meh whatever" about hair though and don't pay too much attention so that might be why. I pay much more attention to that way it compliments the face rather that the hair itself and I think Jade looks lovely personally. I'm making a mental note never to show you my hair because I think you would have a coronary haha. If you can remember Estelle's from last year, it's pretty much the exact same colour, style and length as that but probably even more ratty. I should probably make my first hair appointment in a few years lol.
 
Jade looks beautiful there,she has the most gorgeous smile. The colour of her hair is fine now, and the styling is much better with her style rather than the hairdressers. I do agree though it'd be better without extensions.

Tahan looks beautiful and fierce in that photo shoot - looks better than the ones she did for Tigermist which were kind of same same for every picture. l just don't understand why they choose the locations they do - for me it doesn't do anything for the clothes. I don't get it.

Agreed.

I think of Katy perry when she wore the extensions and I much preferred it over her having short hair. Jade is the same. If anything Katy perry suited the extensions more than other girls, and when jade styles it her way she does too. In saying that, if it's the rattiness, well there is nothing a good leave in hair conditioner can't fix to the ends of her hair lol.

Btw, my hair is like tahans, and I am guilty of not getting frequent trims, so I rock the ratty ends a bit too mch too :p

If they did cut jades hair quite short because of the damage and going by the aria pcs, then I'd prefer the extensions. [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION] and I don't seem to phased by the extensions when she styles it for so e reason, maybe we are used to seeing the girls around us wear them so often it's the norm? Lol. I dislike when they are curled so much it has the Dolly Parton effect *sugar sisters :p

Tahans photos for tigermist were catalogue photos IMO. Which suited the representation of selling clothes for a store. They do tend be similar photos, just a different outfit really, but that's typical for most clothing stores. I personally loved the location shoots for these photos, it gives an urban touch

haha if you could see my hair, you'd piss yourself laughing. It's piled on my hair in a bun and is only coping thanks to a liberal dose of dry shampoo. So trust me, I'm the last person who'd judge your hair! I only pay attention to what her hair looks like as mine is quite similar to hers. And it's why I notice people in real life or in the public eye who do the same thing. There is absolutely zero positives to having thin hair. It's a f'n curse so when I see people who have managed to incorporate extensions well I take note as it's something I've considered. Same as when I can spot them a mile away as that's what I'm afraid of. I guess it's kind of like when you're looking to buy a new car and you suddenly notice every second car is the same colour as the one you're considering. And don't get me wrong - the girl would look beautiful even if she were bald. I just wish they'd chop off the extra length and bring the extensions up to her real hair as they wouldn't be noticeable and she'd still get the benefits of having them.

Tahan has some serious issues with the blue veining on her insteps/ankles and up her legs and on her left hand. She needs to go see a varicose vein specialist. She's too young to have such an issue.
 
i think that the photo of Jade looking like her hair was shorter at the Arias was misleading

Haha I think I've gotten to the stage where I haven't had my hair cut in so long I've been putting it off even longer because I'm scared of my hairdresser's reaction. She's probably thought I just went somewhere else, not just not had it cut in like 18 months lol.

I'm very jealous you have hair like Tahan's. I've always wanted dark hair like that. It looks so luscious but I've always been scared to get it dyed like that in case the colour doesn't compliment me.

Re the scenery in her photoshoot: they always look a lot different when you see the finished product. I remember when Jade posted a pic of her doing a shoot in a warehouse some people were like "ew WTF?" but the finished product of the photo was absolutely gorgeous. I imagine this shoot of Tahan's will be similar.

I like it long but I think it'd look good maybe chest level. Personal preference. She looks beautiful either way .

I can see it's an urban shoot but the clothes themselves aren't so I guess just don't understand that juxtaposition. Tahan looks great though.

EDIT: I don't have an artistic bone In my body so I always have difficulty picturing the finished product

Are you fucking serious? All I said to Tully was I thought she shouldn't use the overlay on her food reviews or overuse the photo album effect but complimented her writing and she deleted it. Fuck off.
