Hmm. Ok, so she was out. But I guess she doesn't specifically say where, but it could've been. No more GT for the year either, I will have to wait until next year to see if she goes or not.

Oh really?? Damn, it would've been good to talk to her. But it's cool. I was pretty drunky so I'd say its for the best.

I'm glad for her that she was there though, I really wasn't expecting her to be.

Never mind wrapping them, I need help making the f'n things! All the oldies plotted together this year and said they didn't want anything store bought. All handmade from the grand/great grand children. That's FOURTEEN homemade presents from each kid! Which of course equals mummy and daddy (bahaha) making it all with a few random touches from the rugrats. If they pull a stunt like this next year, I won't be asking you to fly here...I'll be begging you to let me come hide at your house!

suggestion - next year why not use one of these sort of companies http://www.mykidzart.com.au/
they can do a mug, a clock, a plate etc etc ...

you could also go to Plaster Fun House and let them paint a few little ornaments ... (do these places still exist?)

OR make a huge batch of White Christmas ... take cute photos of your son making it to incorporate in the card ... wrap some in cellophane with big Christmas bow and hey presto - handmade edible (hopefully) gift that keeps everyone happy

or take photo of him ... make a cardboard frame and let him decorate it however he likes (but preferably including the words I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!! etc etc and put it in a photo frame

OR there are calendars you could put his artworks on each month ... and print out 14 of them :) include little reminders each month where there is a family member's birthday ...

I actually looked into mykidzart a couple of weeks ago but they take 9 weeks to make your gift after August so I was out of luck and sadly the only Plaster Fun House in Vic is in Ballarat. Definitely stealing your White Christmas idea though - although I had to Google that too... the things I'm learning! Might even do it this year if we have enough time. If so, I'll let you know how we make out. Thanks crim! :)

totally agree ...she's just a little too click-friendly on twitter ... I think she should stay away from favouriting and retweeting altogether and be more selective in who she answers ... that greg guy so far up jade & ed's rears it isn't funny! so Tahan should just steer clear of him altogether ..
