That's something I've never understood. Tim talks a lot about how he made moves on Jade to make Ed stand up and make a move on her, and yet he spends an awful lot of time hating on the pairing. It's completely ironic that he is responsible for something that gets him so worked up.

I think it's clear I usually treat with derision speculation of who housemates 'like' and/or are jealous of. But I have to say, if I was betting on crushes, it would be the one Tim has on Jade. Interestingly, I think they'd make a good pair. It's the yin/yang thing.
 
Nothing would make me happier than if jade and Ed were not together but it looks over the last few days they were.
It seems all the hm's have all gone there separate ways today, whether it be bb work commitments or just home.
Jade will have a few appearances left and hopefully with Tim, fingers crossed he will knock some sense into her.
I have a feeling the drew and tully thing will drag on for a few more weeks before it will come to a cringe worthy end.

Wow, I am going to agree with you again! I think Tim is enraptured with Jade, he adores her, he does things to get her attention. She loves him, but it is in platonic friendship way.

The photo of Jade in the spotty dress arm in arm with Tim is really lovely...and actually, while I'm having this out of body speculator/mad fantasist hour, their body language is VERY comfortable...unlike how uncomfortable it was for Jade in the PS.

Definitely, he has always tried to get her attention. But I have to admit that I love their friendship, maybe I´m just naive, but I've always seen that there has been a strong bond between them. And that´s probably one of the reason why he can´t stand Ed.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was just looking at it from the "he just likes giving it to Ed" angle but I hadn't thought of the Jade stuff. To me at least it was pretty obvious that Tim had a thing for her for most of the series but I never took it too seriously because he says he loves everyone lol. It was never going to happen but they do have a very good vibe together.

i really don't see jade fitting in tim's scene at all - i've always seen him as trying to change her

i do think drew definitely has a problem with ed because of jade though

I agree !!! I think Tim is Jade's hero if she only knew. I think he adores her, and will be the shoulder to cry on when Special Ed mumbles his away out of any commitment. Not sure if I see it as a romantic possibility, Tim is still a big kid underneath it all, and Jade just wants perfect husband material in her head, a responsible good man, ready to settle down and have kids. I do think though that Tim will at the very least be a fantastic friend and support to Jade and who knows after that !! In fact.... I'd love to see a scenario where it ends up Tim, Jade and Drew head off to South America on a holiday.

Unfortunately for Tim he is not the stereotypical tall, dark, handsome, muscle bound prince charming type, and therefore Jade would never seriously consider him in a romantic way. It's disappointing because he has so much more going for him than Ed has.

I love their friendship, it is reason I really got into this season. I love them together. There is a strong bond. I think it is a case of he adores her so much, that he thinks she deserves better than ambivalent Ed

Okay...my fantast hour is over. The holiday for three is a bridge too far...far too far ;)
 
Why is everyone not wanting to include Tully in this South American trip? I'm sure Drew would also want to take Tulls!

You mean you can't see Jade in a gingham dress, hair in pigtails with Tim ( The lion ) one side of her, and Drew (Iron Man) the other, as they all link arms singing..... We're off to see the Wizard......

Bah... no imagination !! LOL. ;)

I think we are banking on Ed and Tully being YESTERDAYS NEWS by the time the South American trip unfolds !! Thats the dream anyway. !!! LOL
