Well, Tully is out and about in Melbourne. I think they may be having a day at the beach judging by her instagram, they had breakfast in Windsor, wondering if she crashed at Jazz's place since they were drinking there last night.

I really wish we could get someone from here to interview Ben and confront him with proof of the comedy act, Grindr, his Twitter account and then see what he has to say. It drives me nuts that he's managing to fool so many people simply because they're too naive, lazy and/or technologically impaired to search for the truth about him.

I don't mind Ben much one way or the other, and I'm not naive. I think he's edited his history…I suspect many of them have. The comedy act though appears to have been a one off. Let's face it, even you have found no further proof. As for Grindr, do we really need to know. Who gives a damn whether he's denying it? It's his sex/private life and I can't for the life of me see why he should have to lay everything out on the table.
yeah not everyone wants to share all their personal and private details....some things are embarrassing and i can understand not wanting to put everything out there
haven't watched this and don't know what it's like but sounds a bit like the scene of someone we know, pre bb.....

I haven't looked for further proof of his comedy act. What I saw posted on here was enough. As for the Grindr thing: He's the one who mentioned it in the YourTv article so he obviously has no problem "laying everything out on the table" or talking about his sex/private life. My issue isn't with him having been on Grindr. I would've thought that would be understood by the countless times I've said it or even just from reading any of my posts in general. It's with him lying about it for no reason other than to present a schtick to the public.

How do you know it's for no reason and seriously why does it matter at all? This isn't Bill and Monica. (Not that I thought that mattered either.) I also read what was said here regarding the comedy routine. My recollection is that no-one could provide proof past that one gig. I'm happy to be corrected if there's evidence to the contrary. It seems to me that any hopes he had in that area were thwarted by anxiety and depression, which I'm quite sure by the way is real.
What would be the reason in saying that you had never had an account on Twitter or Grindr pre BB and saying that Ch 9 has now taught you to use social media and you've joined Grindr? If he had a reason for lying about it, why mention it now? That's my point: It has nothing to do with Grindr or what it's used for. He could've said Pinterest instead of Grindr for all I care. I'm always open to seeing different angles to things so if you can provide me with a decent explanation as to why someone would lie about something as basic as having a Twitter account then I'm all for it because to me all it looks like is that he's pretending he's a naive, innocent manchild living in the 50s when that wasn't the case.
ETA - It matters for the same reason people in this thread care if Drew and Tully are fighting or if Jade and Ed are together. I'm here to discuss housemates and my thoughts on them.
I think the deal for me is that he has lied - not just once ... and why lie about it? why not just come out and say yes I did that one show - god it was scarey ... I did it because of XYZ and it was part of UVW ... I'd like to do something like that again in the future ...
personally if you have stuff you want to hide you don't go on a national tv show where you are locked down for weeks/months ... with no control over what people will dig up about you ...
so if there is stuff out there and it does get dug up - own it. Don't lie about it. Don't try to cover it up.
it just means I now thoroughly distrust the guy - I don't believe in the naivety at his age, the uselessness at his age ... if he can't reheat a vege pattie how the heck did he manage to feed himself whilst living alone? Would I bother to watch a show he was cast in? probably for about 5 mins max until he grated on me because of the distrust ...
none of the stuff he has lied about would have bothered me too much if he'd just been truthful.
