He's trying to build a bankable media personality but then then publicly slags off his ex housemates and gets into fights on Twitter. He wants to be known as edgy and crazy but that's a fine line to tread if you're trying to launch a TV career.

I don't know, Kyle Sandilands has been a massive wanker for years and yet he still has a career. Even Don Imus managed to get a radio show again after he was publicly racist and sexist.

I think he will probably fade into obscurity as far as the media goes because that's just the way of Big Brother. Besides Fitzy.

Chrissie Swan has been more successful than Fitzy though? I've seen her on TV and she's won Logies but never heard Fitzy on the radio, although know he's popular
I think Fitzy, Chrissie and Blair McDonough(acting) are the only ones to have long lasting careers so far?
 
things got a whole lotta interesting when i didn't have the internet. Typical. I have not read it all but am so excited for the awesome debates going on that i'll comment now and catch up later.

Hate that alex targeted original tim and this site which is far more interesting and free than the "official" site, which is why i feel safe to say that anyone who defends or worships tully has rocks in their heads, she was one of the nastiest, most controlling housemates i have seen. Why anyone would jump to her defense is still a mystery to me. Tim 13 can be a dickhead but he is what he is. I'd take someone that shoots from the hip and gets in trouble for his big (but usually honest) mouth than someone who can work anyone onto her side depending on her mood.

must say i'm disappointed that my past fave isn't a fan of tim and what he has done....but seems to defend tully.

why would anyone defend tully? what did she do apart from control, stomp, strop and any other negative thing you can attribute to a human. Oh that's right, she's cool ( or at least tries hard to be...not working)

so why does tully get your free pass? Lets not forget the "friendship" between jade and tully, even though tully actively bitched about her to drew because she wanted drews affections, then telling jades secrets withing 5 seconds of telling jade she wouldn't, and telling them how she had jade on side and thinks she convinced her but didn't mean it. How about that free ride, complete with sympathisers that brush off all the questionable controlling and puke inducing behaviour from sweet innocent tully who is just so misunderstood.

Whether you like Tully or not matters not a jot, but if you think others here do because she's 'cool' then I suspect that mostly you're way off base, and mildly insulting, although personally I don't care. Still, in my case at least, your reasoning is way off base. But then, I think Kerry O'Brien is cool.

Your profile tells me you are from QLD. This may be why. Fitzy and Wippa have a Sydney breakfast radio show on Nova.

Definitely those three would be the biggest. I had only vaguely heard of Chrissie until I moved to Adelaide and heard her radio show and I know she was nominated for and won Logies but I had never seen the shows. There are a lot of Logie winners I have never heard of. I think it depends on the audience. I am much more familiar with Fitzy because of Before the Game, the Project and his radio show, so I guess in my world he seems the most prominent. For some Blair might be considered most successful. Definitely in the UK.

I know Tim Brunero has been consistently involved in radio and ABC stuff since BB, but not to the level of Fitzy/Chrissie. Pretty much successful journalist stuff rather than entertainment based.
 
Also @Veronica2005 I made a list a while ago. There are quite a few who went on to have fairly successful radio careers.
