Do you generally call it all-you-can-eat in the US? My daughter in going to uni over there next semester and in her information pack it refers to the all-you-care-to-eat dining hall on campus (so much more polite). I've never heard it called that before

An uncharitable part of me wonders if she does this type of thing just purely to generate this kind of speculation and maintain interest in her and her activities

Yep, and the guy behind her in the green shirt is her boyfriend (Jessie-girl knows her). He is good friends with both the Lowers. You can also see him in the left hand corner of Nick's photo of the Sydney crew, and in Nick's photo of himself in a onesie from earlier in the week.

So they gave the "winning date " to one of their friends. This makes me wonder if this is another Ed lie to cover up the fact that he never lived up to the promise Nick made to set up a date with the top Ed voter. Maybe this was an answer to people on SM that have questioned whether or not anyone ever got the promised date.

Yes, all-you-can-eat-buffet is a common description of those types of restaurants in the US. You pay one price and you can eat as much as you want, they usually have a number of different items to choose from.

It's been 6 months since Ed left the house, so I think it has less to do with covering their butts half a year later and more to do with generating interest in Ed while he is in Sydney. Earlier that day he publicised where he was going drinking on his instagram, rather than messaging or calling Tully. I think it was self-promotion.

The US version of restaurant sounds like it caters for all types. Those that 'can' eat more but 'care' to eat less and those that 'care' to eat more than they really can.
 
So tonight there is a VIP "Logies Pre-Party" at Adam Behind Eve (it is literally a bar called Adam and it's behind Eve Bar Nightclub, run by the same people) with all sorts of people invited who have no reason to be invited to the actual Logies - in fact I'm unsure the event has any sort of official connection to the Logies.

One person has specifically mentioned Tahan as going, so I assume she is probably definitely going.

Jamie has also sort-of mentioned it on twitter - I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the Melbourne HMs have been invited, including Sharon being discussed earlier.

I would almost guarantee Drew got invited as he has been making good friends with Eve Bar's event organisers etc - but I don't have any actual confirmation on whether he is going tonight or not.

Just to further the thinking of this being what Jamie was talking about in regards to Sharon - I'm sure I seen him mention Ciccone Cosmetics with his tweets about her as well but can't see it now. Anyway, Ciccone Cosmetics is one of the "sponsors" of the party apparently.

The party starts at 10pm.

So that probably explains what Sharon is going to. It will be interesting to see who else is going to that. I wonder if Tully has been invited - I would be very surprised if the other HMs are going and she is not, given that she is in Melbourne this weekend - even though she is not a Melbourne HM. Perhaps that is her excuse for the weekend?

Maybe Ben is going to interview some celebs for the ch9 Morning Show next week, rather than just a being guest?
