Not sure how I feel about Jade's shoes....
I notice the necklace Tully is wearing- I recall that she got this for Christmas ( she did not say who from, but I had my suspicions) and instagrammed a post Christmas evening biting the cross seductively. The caption she wrote was something like ' rocking my veraxane caged cross necklace, seems appropriate, never taking it off.'
This is the first time that I have ever seen her wear it.
I've done nothing of the sort, actually. I like Drew a lot, as it happens--it's more that he doesn't need defending. In my mind I wasn't giving Tully 100% of the credit by ANY means--I was merely defending her against the ZERO credit she tends to get for possibly being a decent friend and human being, based on comments on SM from people who know her. I apologise if I was too easily misunderstood in what I was saying, but I have to say I think you are misreading me here. And I can't speak for Sweetgeek, but I'd guess the same goes?
Where is it that she gets zero credit for being a decent friend and human being? It isn’t this board because this may as well be called the Tully Appreciation Thread. Any criticism of Tully, even when respectfully delivered, is completely unwelcome here. I have friends who read this board but are too scared to join in because they are not Tully fans and feel that if they were to give their honest opinion of her they would be chewed up and spat out.
That's somewhat interesting, Tully is good friends with the founder and designer of veraxane so at the time I assumed it was from her and was a promotional thing, however I could be wrong. Good to see her wearing it though.
I feel mean for doing so, but I have to agree with the negative comments on Jade's clothing, although perhaps not with the same ferocity. Anyone working in the fashion industry in any capacity really does need to familiarise themselves with trends, even though Jade is not really working as a model anymore and her clothing is fine, I can't picture her creating an outfit for a casting. It is actually really hard being a working model without this knowledge! Luckily for her she has the most banging body ever so she manages to look good in most things. Damn her.
I didn't realise that Tully was friends with the designer ( although not surprised). It could well have been from them. I only assumed that it was a gift from someone else given that it was Xmas day and the type of post she made. She usually thanks the designer if it is a gift from them. I thought it unusual that she commented she was never taking it off, and then never wore it in any posts thereafter.

i thought it was a gift from Drew. it's the 1st time i have seen it in a pic as well
That's what I thought as well at the time - even though Drew's name was not mentioned, it was just an intuitive feeling that I had. I could have been completely off track of course.i thought it was a gift from Drew. it's the 1st time i have seen it in a pic as well

Besides @littlebear and myself who defended tully (and I think n a polite and non defensive manner), there was more criticism of her at the time you posted and called out littlebear and myself. So I think it's fair to say this is not a tully appreciation threadWhere is it that she gets zero credit for being a decent friend and human being? I agree - I think there are just as many posters who dislike Tully as those that like her - it makes for a good discussion sometimes, but I think in general people in here respect that others may have a different opinion. I took a little trip the other day back to read some of the other early threads in this forum. Some of them were just vile and nasty. The people in this thread are very respectful, interesting and enjoyable to read, no matter what their opinion. I think that is the reason why this thread has continued on, whilst many others have died. Newcomers are very welcome - please join![]()
Yeah, that could not be less my experience of this thread, especially lately. Which is fine with me, as I like the discussion. But I feel like I'm on the defensive when it comes to my own honest opinions more often than not. I've felt plenty unwelcome at times--so I wouldn't want anyone else to feel that way. (Unless it's someone who just wants to be nasty to other posters, of course.Besides @littlebear and myself who defended tully (and I think n a polite and non defensive manner), there was more criticism of her at the time you posted and called out littlebear and myself.
