He is versatile, isn't he? Very few Australian actors/actresses who stay here have a career that goes up and up - he should be admired by the up and comers in the industry. I should give Rake a go.

make sure you watch last weeks episode though so you know the characters otherwise you will be very confused by the 2nd

Yes, I have to say while we could anticipate the likely melodrama of Aussies got to sing for Mal I for one wasn't expecting the finality of tragedy of it. I am sad he's gone, too. Do you think there is any chance he could survive?

I considered his survival and I want it to happen, but I'm not hopeful. Fingers crossed.

Well that's easy to fix. Someone should tweet him and ask him not to be a hypocrite and that he should have a go at Tahan as well for mean gehling poor Jade haha.

That's the only reason l think Nathan shouldn't say anything because it's just feeding that.
And discussing something that's happened directly to you with a friend isn't gossip. Gossip is talk about other people. Or is it wrong for friends to talk about things that have affected them?

So instead of gossip it should be called a "bitch session" or a "whinge fest" or whatever else makes you happy. Jade bitches about people behind their backs. I personally don't have a problem with that, but some rabid fan gehls might not be able to believe that their goddess Jade could possibly be so imperfect hahAHAHA

And I certainly hope no body is deflecting that Tim is a dickhead who says and does stuff to bring attention to himself with little or no regard for other people's feelings. I like that he does that because I don't care about the people he pisses off :)

In regards to the bolded part, that's your prerogative whether you defend Tim or not. There are constantly "arguments" in here where Tim fans jump in and defend him as well even if you're not one of them (the recent one about him and Boog for example) and I love that. Likewise how there's some Tahan fans here that get very defensive when they don't like a comment, Tully fans that think she cops too much crap, Pookie with Ed, etc. I learnt here a long time ago that no matter what you write or don't write there's always going to be someone that gets pissed off anyway. That's what a discussion forum is designed for and we should just say whatever the hell we wan't IMO. I've never told anyone to stop their negative comments about Jade (although I did have a rant at prufrock once about comments relating to Jade's intelligence) - that's their opinion - , but at the same time I don't like being told I can't "defend" her if I don't agree with those comments either.

My beef is with Nathan and I thought my initial post made that clear. This is at least the 3rd instance I can think of where he's tried to involve himself with shit on SM that has nothing to do with him. And in the first instance no one can even use the excuse that he was supposedly defending his friends unless we're going to say that he's somehow mutual BFF's with the girls Tahan allegedly called moles although he at least finally admitted he was only repeating what Jade and the sisters told him. And although I have zero doubt that they were discussing Tim last night, I have no clue if she confronted Tim privately prior to that or what if any part she had in Nathan's behaviour last night. I did watch her backtrack and say jack shit when confronted by Tahan over the hole and also watched her stand idly by - except for a small smirk - while Boog tore strips off of Mikkayla in front of the whole house, thanks in large part to what Jade said to Mikkayka by the pool. And that was the final nail in Mikk's coffin which saw her shockingly go home over an intruder. Great job Jade! She actually never confronted Tahan or even Jazz about anything now that I think about it. Never said a word to Tahan the night of Pancake Gate (although it turns out the sisters were lying... shocker!) or even when Tahan made a crack about Mikkayla's weight or the sisters' abilities to do their jobs. Her closest friends were in tears and yet it was crickets from Jade. So am I convinced she said something to Tim this time? No. We don't even know if she said something way back about the Ed thing. For all we know Mikkayla was her messenger again. Or maybe she doesn't have the guts to confront women or feel the same need to stick up for her friends. Who knows.

However my issue still stands: It makes for a very hostile environment in here when someone posts something and the comment is so twisted and turned that the OP is left wondering wtf is going on and doubting what they even said. And the common denominator when this happens is any slight reference to Jade. I have said repeatedly over the months that I say what I mean, choose my words carefully and you're hearing exactly what you would if you were sitting next to me. It was going on tonight even before I made my first comment so I should've been prepared but even still I went back and reread every comment I've made since Tim posted his video to see if there were big chunks of time where I'd blacked out. It makes for an even worse environment when people are acting like little meerkats popping up in this thread to read what's going on to then scurry over to the JA thread to yap about the people in here. Talk about passive aggressive juvenile crap and then to try to wrap it in "ooh I'm too scared to post in the main thread" like some sort of angels? I'm sorry but for a group of people who have torn Tahan and Jazz apart and repeatedly slut shamed random girls on Instagram because ZOMG Ed followed them, no one's buying that bullshit. If they're too scared to post to or about people in this thread then they should probably be too scared to post over there about the people in here because whaddya know: WE CAN STILL READ WHAT YOU'RE SAYING. A hit dog eventually hollers and may even bite their faces off so it's a good idea for them to not hit at all.

Anyway agree to disagree and I appreciate your apology.

We don't actually know what was said, but yeah, like I'd say 100% of the population, she probably vents to friends about shit that pisses her off. Don't know what's so hilarious about it though. lt's actually something we all do.
