it might be just be me but does Tahan come across a little bit of sour grapes about not being vertified yet and was it a dig at Jade and Tully saying she would rather wait... did Jade and Tully actually apply to be vertified?
maybe it was just the way she worded it:)

Why does Twitter verify accounts?

Verification is currently used to establish authenticity of identities of key individuals and brands on Twitter.

What kinds of accounts get verified?

Twitter verifies accounts on an ongoing basis to make it easier for users to find who they're looking for. We concentrate on highly sought users in music, acting, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, media, sports, business, and other key interest areas. Why hasn't my account been verified?

If you think you meet the criteria for verification and have not yet received a badge, please be patient. We are working within key interest areas to verify accounts that are sought after by other Twitter users. We don't accept verification requests from the general public, but we encourage you to continue using Twitter in a meaningful way, and you may be verified in the future. Please note that follower count is not a factor in determining whether an account meets our criteria for verification.

She likes tully and I do doubt she would intentionally have a go at Tully's expense. Tahan has always been upfront with her feelings and I do think she really does think there is no pint to this verification thing unless she is someone known first. She also puts herself down by saying she is a nobody. But I can see why you would think otherwise.

haha i edited thinking i was reading too much into it..I guess I first wondered if she was making the dig suggesting the others were nobodies as well but got vertified anyway..
I know Tahan and Tully are mates:)

I think if you get verified it's good for you regardless. For whatever reason tahan doesn't seem to understand that perhaps and thinks you need to be someone. By what I've read of this verification thing, it sounds like you could be verified through twitter itself or one can needs to be approved for it. I think it's proactive of jade and tully to have done this btw.

But I don't think tahan meant any harm
