Jeez. He could have at least started a new blog instead of adding to the horrible and nasty one that his family started.

yeah that's what I was thinking as well lol Ed does write, 'I NEED to change the name' but maybe he should have done that first? and the addy is reminding viewers about what went on there last year, before it was deleted:eek:

It's just so bizzare. He copped sooooooo much crap when he even just acknowledged the blog and everyone told him why so why on earth would he want to start blogging on a blog that's already so unpopular? Doesn't make an ounce of sense. Just start a new one!

he doesn't have an ounce of sense

i really like Eds blog, it was a good read. he comes across as very genuine, and it looked like he had no great expectations from the show. i am going to follow it, why not :)
I just think he should have maybe changed the name first lol but I'm sure it will interesting to see what he had been doing since leaving the house and any future plans...might have some valuable gossip in it

Early start for me tomorrow! First flight out to Sydney, to catch up with the lovely Soniakruger & @dcleo on @mornings9 to have a chinwag about new release movies! I think the segment airs around 10:10am, but why not just tune in & enjoy the whole show!

So Ben will be on TV tomorrow morning for anyone interested.

The thing I found a little sad in Ed's blog, and I would feel the same if any HM had said it, is that he feels he has come out exactly the same person as he went in. I think most HM (with perhaps the exception of Tim) would feel they have changed or evolved in some way - learned things about themselves, their tolerances or intolerances, gained insights about themselves, new ways of thinking etc. To spend 3 months immersed in a life experience like no other, but to view yourself as unchanged by it seems sad.

i don't think he meant it that way. when he was on the show he said something like he is learning to let loose more

I agree and it's why I can't see Ed's blog being good reading. He was always so guarded in the House yet blogging requires the sharing of the writer's opinions and planting the seeds for discussions. Mikka's blog has been quite interesting, I'm not sure Ed's posts about coffee are going to be.

let's just wait and see how it goes :)

Yes, he did (Mandate etc) - but I think it may have just been while he was in that environment. I think maybe someone who adapts (he used that word quite a bit in the house) to the requirements of the environment he is in, and has returned to his previous self now he is back in his familiar environment with familiar people who expect him to think and act the same way he did before.
