I knew the twist (pairs) wouldn't last long! they never run it long! and anyway with one person no longer having a partner what were they going to do?

Wait, where do they say the pairs thing is ending? Not that I'm complaining, the fewer housemates they can kick out temselves the better.

And now the competition's 2013 winner, Tim Dormer will re-enter the house.
The return of Tim to the Big Brother compound could ruffle some feather, particularly for current housemate Jake who actually lives with Dormer on the outside.

Trouble follows him! Tim's return to the house will no doubt ruffle a few feathers
Talking to Daily Mail Australia, Tim said: 'I can’t wait to see Jake's face when he sees me, knowing none of the other housemates know that we are real life housemates.'
Saying that trouble follows him wherever he goes, just like his first stint on the reality TV show, the curly-haired prankster will no doubt have some tricks up his sleeve to affect everyone's time in the house.
'I have been enjoying watching the show from my couch in my living room, and now I get to go in to the Big Brother House and have an effect on the game,' he said.

Stirring the pot! Talking to Daily Mail Australia, Tim said: 'I can’t wait to see Jake's face when he sees me, knowing none of the other housemates know that we are real life housemates'
'There can only be one winner, and who better to give them advice than me!'
Watching the current season play out from the comfort of his own home, Tim has picked his favourites from early on and those who he's still unsure about.
'There’s been a lot of drama early on, and I think playing in pairs has protected some people and maybe made some others feel like they can’t be themselves early on in the game.'
'I think they should be shaken up so we really see them starting to think individually.'
Saying he was unsure about Travis, he said he couldn't wait to meet Skye, David and Priya.

Decked out in a charcoal suit and gold tie, the Sydney-sider was greeted with big smiles and confused faces.

However, it won't be known just how shocked Jake is until Sunday night's episode.

MODEL LIFE – RYAN
RYAN_FORBLOGPAGE2.jpg

RYANFORBLOGPAGE1.jpg

With Big Brother back on our screens again this year we thought we’d sit down with 2012 housemate and Silhouette Model, Ryan to find out more about the whole experience.

What was it like being part of the Big Brother house?

I remember receiving a phone call whilst parking my car from an Interstate number but had no idea what this phone call would be regarding.

That phone call changed my whole life as it was the Executive Producer of the show informing me that I had been selected as a housemate. He basically said ‘Ryan mate, I’m telling you now because I know you’re a smart guy and you will keep this a secret before you become an official Big Brother housemate in 3 weeks time.’

From that moment I had to quit my job, and lie to my friends about why I quit my job. They didn’t know I was on the show until they watched it live with the rest of the 2 million other Australians that tuned in.

You can’t really explain to someone what it was like. The only people that know are the previous and current housemates. But it was a life experience that I will never forget.

How did life change for you after the Big Brother experience?

The best way to describe the experience was that it was a roller coaster ride. Quitting my job, giving up football and being recognised when I walked down the street had its positives and negatives. I remember shopping one day during the holidays in Melbourne only two weeks after I was evicted. I was mobbed by young school kids wanting photos and autographs. This was all new to me and I didn’t like it at all. I told Mum to take me straight home and I didn’t want to go out in public for a week afterwards. But time is a big thing and I finally embraced it all and grew accustomed to the photos and publicity.

It did change my life but I still remain very close to my family and friends. As they say with any reality TV show, it really is your 5 minutes of fame.

I’m back doing what I love and enjoying every single bit of being back to a normal life.

If you could give any advice to this years contestants, what would it be?

Enjoy every minute of it because the journey can be very short. Embrace the experience and the opportunities that arise from the show and hit the ground running. Enjoy the ride!

You’re also a very successful model. How did you begin your modelling career?

My Uncle, Scott McGregor, was a successful model when I was growing up and I really looked up to him. I signed with an agency at 19 when I finished school and wanted a job that would be flexible with my Uni timetable. After my first job, I realised I loved it and knew it was an Industry I wanted to be involved in.

What has been your favourite job so far?

There have been lots of excellent jobs where I’ve met great people and been to really interesting places but the highlight would have to be the MYER A/W 13 Parades I did with Jen Hawkins and Kris Smith. The adrenalin rush from fashion shows is amazing!

Describe yourself in five words?

Genuine, Loyal, Charming, Passionate, Disciplined

We’d have to agree with that. You are definitely a favourite with all the girls in the Silhouette office!

Okay so Tim was a great HM last year but I have absolutely no desire to see him back in the house. Been there, done that. It seems likes a desperate ratings grab to me if he only found out on Friday, and maybe instead of going for a stunt they should admit that they picked a bunch of duds this year by choosing HMs based on who they knew and not on their personalities.

I am looking forward to him calling out Lisa though and i hope he follows through with that. I just hope the whole thing wont be too cringeworthy. His "look at me look at me" almost got too much for me last year and I imagine his entrance will be a lot worse this year now that he knows he's the "star". I also don't want to see him rally the troops against the cool kids either like he said he was. I don't want a replay of last year (as much as it was a better series) I want to see how these current HMs would handle the dynamics...not just do what Tim would because they're getting info from the outside world.

I feel exactly the same, these HM's need to find their own way, bringing back Tim just seems weird to me.

Given the excitement, I must be the only person who would rather eat their own eyeballs than see Tim go back into the house

He is so 2013, his time in the BB house should be over.

It is time for the House of 2014 to shine, and we don't need Tim to help do that.
