He's usually seen out and about with former Big Brother housemate Jade Albany.

And now it seems Tim Dormer has another blonde friend to hang out with in his neck of the woods.

On Friday the 30-year-old personality was seen in Bondi alongside controversial radio host Mel Greig, with Tim explaining to Daily Mail Australia that he was welcoming her into the suburb after her recent relocation.

A warm welcome! Mel recently relocated from Adelaide to Bondi, and Tim told Daily Mail Australia he was welcoming her to the area with some drinks

Mel, 29, has made a short term move to Sydney from Adelaide for work reasons - and will be separated from her fiance Steve Pollock in the meantime.

While Tim is normally seen wearing a curly mane of hair, he wrestled it into a bun for their day in Bondi.

He wore a black top under a light jacket, and evened out his black wears with a pair of high top Converse Chucks.

Meanwhile, Mel sported a washed out denim shirt and a wooly black cardigan over a grey top - and unlike Tim let her tresses flow in the wind.

She needs all the support she can get! The infamous radio host has made a short term move to Sydney from Adelaide for work reasons - and will be separated from her fiance Steve Pollock in the meantime

Tim, who has filled in for Kyle Sandilands during the shock jocks respective stints on 2DayFM and KIIS FM, was first spotted getting a drink with Mel back in June.

He's previously told Daily Mail Australia that the two were working on a TV project together, but on Sunday said that organisation had stalled in recent weeks.

On Thursday Mel made her first foray back into the public eye since the fiasco surrounding her prank-gone-wrong with an appearance on Sunrise as a member of Kochie's Angels panel.

Her and former co-host Michael Christian become infamous for the Royal prank call scandal in 2012 after the two called London's King Edward VII Hospital where the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for severe morning sickness.

The hosts, who were posing as Queen and Prince Philip, were put through to her ward by Bristol mother-of-two nurse Ms Saldanha, who took her own life three days after the call was widely covered by media.

I've read through the transcript from #60mins interview with that creepy man. He's delirious & should not be raising children. #disgusted

Gammy's parents

This whole thing has really horrified me. The sex offender stuff aside...I just can't fathom how anyone could abandon their child. Just because he has Down Syndrome. They only wanted the "perfect" child. I just can't wrap my head around it. If they went to all that trouble to have babies you'd think they'd see them both for the gifts they were and not be choosy.

i know a couple that did just this, they were both doctors, the baby was a hiccup in their careers. hopefully it will eat at them

it's a horrible situation, and this couple have just made it a lot harder for decent people who want to go with surrogacy, but then again, maybe laws do need to be tightened to make sure everything is clear cut with the deal

i keep thinking about the poor guy who died in the city2surf, it's shaken me, heartbreaking :(
Laws need to be put in place unfortunately. The first law being if you have been convicted as a sexual offender, then you don't have rights to this. I am unsympathetic about this. And like @Gemini, I do question the 'perfect child'. God forbid a horrible accident happens and your child is no longer 'perfect'- does that child become unwanted? I can try and understand that yes many people will have abortions if a child does not appear to be healthy, but the baby was born- deal with the issue, not abandon them.

Another sad story cs1. Tragic :(

This guy lives not far from me. I am going to watch the 60mins show soon. I think the whole situation stinks. Many a child, with so called 'disabilities', are the ones that bring more Joy to others :)

no, but the abandonment of a child with a disability because it interferes with your life is wrong, and i would have thought they would be more understanding and accepting, but no, adopted her out after 1 week. i still think about it, and i bloody hope they do too

That makes me so sad to read. I mean my daughter doesn't have a disability, but she does have a chronic medical condition that requires regular lengthy hospital admissions. I suppose objectively I can understand their predicament (I can't work fulltime but I do have a VERY understanding employer that understands I need time off for her a lot), but I still can't agree with it. When you have kids they become the centre of your life, not something that you need to try and fit into yours. You just do what you need to for them. It's been challenging but I wouldn't change one hair on my kid's head and I can't understand parents wanting to pick and choose theirs. Very sad for them :(
