I know the article is a little vague on what exactly it means but I don't think the show has a host - rather Tully has been hired as a host for the Bar - a bar host not that she is hosting the show. The way the rest of the article flows does not make it seem to me she was hired specifically to host a show - this position is more in line with the language in the article. Her responsibilities would be promoting the bar, participating in event organisation, having a 'guest list'. See how they use it this way for example:

Do these type of reality shows work when its Australian based? The only Australian reality shows I know that are successful are ones like the Voice, BB and the Block. Not the fake acting ones. Those only seem to be US/UK based.

The sad part about that show is that I think Drew and Tully are both gorgeous and smart. They could be doing so much better for themselves in terms of work and life. Just sad for them really, having to work for, and with, the people in that trailer.
I'm looking forward to the next crop of housemates.
 
That Nick Russian dude club owner was in another reality show around 2002-03. Temptation Island something or other I think it was called. One of my fave reality besides BB, too bad we didn't get a second season.:biggrin:

i know, and Alex Mavroidakis was a producer on that show. that is what i said before, everybody involved with BB seems to have a link with each other before the show, that's why the hm's aren't random everyday people. Ava's (BB12) brother also works/ed for CH9.

Ava is also a regular at Eve, and i have seen Ryan (BB12) in a lot of photos there. i wonder if Alex M is involved in this new show somehow?

There are only so many 'famewhores' willing to sell their dignity for a chance at stardom on a reality tv, cs1. lol :)

Tully's role-playing in her Tinder Date video was far more realistic and her reaction to Tim's shit was more entertaining than the Eve clip which was lacking in entertainment / humor.

and who is that you are referring to, any names in particular? ;)

the funny thing about all this is, i watched Temptation Island, i don't even remember when or what version, maybe a rerun. i didn't mind it, pretty much about the nature of the Drully relationship. i wonder who out of Tully and Tahlia would have been in the men's camp on that show, a hard one? hahaha

Nick Russian in this instance but a lot of the 'talent' who are up for reality tv show get recycled quite a bit over the years. The karaoke signing competitions (Australian Idol, The Voice etc...) are prime example of this phenomenon with many former AI/Popstar contestants popping up in the newer versions years later. :D

Well that's an interesting concept. I would have thought that Tahlia was the 'boy' in that relationship because Tully is definitely a girly girl. However I suspect that Tully would also have enjoyed being in the boys camp.
