'There's no truth to it': Radio DJ Mel Greig is NOT signing contract with Kiis FM as she prepares to return to work after devastating royal prank call gone wrong
By Erin Van Der Meer

It appears she's ready to be back on the air after the prank call skit she was involved in tragically resulted in a suicide in 2012, but for Mel Greig that's not with 106.5 Kiis FM.

A spokesperson for the Sydney radio station has denied a report on Tuesday that Mel, who's former show the Hot30 Countdown which she co-hosted with Mike Christian was cancelled after it was associated with the suicide of British nurse Jacintha Saldahna, will join the station.

The rep told Daily Mail Australia that the rumours Mel will co-host a new show with Big Brother winner Tim Dormer at ARN is completely untrue.

Catching-up: Mel Greig was seen meeting with Big Brother winner Tim Dormer on Monday, with a rep telling MailOnline they're working on a project. However that project is not a new show with Kiis FM

'I can confirm that there's absolutely no truth in this rumour at all,' the spokesperson said. 'None'.

ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell also denied the report.

'Let me reiterate that there is no truth to these rumours. We have not met with Mel Greig or discussed the possibility of Mel and Tim presenting a show on any of our stations.'

The rumours emerged after Mel was seen spending time with Dormer in Sydney on Monday,

It is not known why the Adelaide-born presenter was seen meeting with the Big Brother winner, a rep only telling Daily Mail Australia 'Tim and Mel are now working with the same management and are currently working on a project together.'

Mel and former co-host Christian become famous for a Royal prank call scandal in 2012 after the two called London's King Edward VII Hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for severe morning sickness.

The hosts, who were posing as Queen and Prince Philip, were put through to her ward by Bristol mother-of-two nurse Ms Saldanha, who took her own life three days after the hoax was widely publicised in the media.

This year Mel won a case against her employer, saying they failed to provide a safe workplace.

Business faces: The pair appeared to be having a fairly serious discussion during their meetup

Mel, 29, resigned from her post at Southern Cross Austereo in December last year, accusing the radio station for failing to maintain a safe workplace.

Mel claimed that her radio station failed to protect her against the media villification she would face in the months that followed

Her Twitter biography highlights her career thus far, and on Monday ended with the auspicious 'time for new memories' with the hashtag 'imback,' and she also goes by the Twitter handle 'Mel Greig Radio.'

I commented back at a couple of trolls on Instagram in desperation once, and then deleted the comments because I realised I was lowering myself to their level when I did it. Punched a cardboard box instead.
Ha! I guess swearing at the screen is better than dealing with that

Whenever I see these sort of Anti-Bullying campaigns I think of that South Park episode "Butterballs". I also read a really interesting article about the hypocrisy of the anti-bullying industry by a psychologist that got me thinking about anti-bullying as a concept. Nothing really to do with the HM's just putting it out there. http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...th-park-exposes-hypocrisy-anti-bully-industry
