To be fair, I don't think this argument now has anything to do with Jade. Connoisseur has repeatedly put out veiled insults to those who post in THIS thread as a whole, both in here and in other random threads. People aren't simply talking out of their asses when they mention how he has shaded all of us in here like we're some freaks ( although with the # of posts he's made in these very threads I suspect it's more a case of feeling odd man out).
Everytime I see that his name is the last post in here I fully expect him to be throwing shade on US.
Last night: This last season has been weird in that regard 'cos I don't remember anything like it before. I've always hung around in the off season but previous off-season posters usually stayed to talk about other reality or non reality tv shows in the interim between seasons. Former housemates were old news within a month of the show ending.

Con: Mmmmm...for me Big Brother is a source of amusement, sort of like a live unscripted sitcom, and pretty much stop caring about them once the finale is over. To each their own I guess.

I'm amazed this thread is still going strong. I've been lurking/posting on this board since 2006 and I can't remember these many posters still giving a f*ck this long after a season has finished. That said the majority of posters who have kept on posting are not of the same vintage as they have relatively recent sign up dates starting with the new incarnation at Ch 9. They are a more dedicated (obsessed) bunch at guess you could say, that could explain it.
And on and on and on. Basically we're all losers for still chatting about BB '13 HMs in his eyes and fair enough. But for a guy who "has never seen this before" and is so befuddled by it all, it's surprising how often he pops up in this thread and the JA one. Go chat to all those legends who apparently kept this forum kicking in the off season in other threads!!
I think with the exception of a few of the newer sign ups, we've all acknowledged that we stay posting in here because of each other and the HMs are merely by-products of that. Yet this guy is up in here and the JA thread constantly trying to throw shade like we're the sad ones. WE'VE ALREADY SAID WHY WE'RE HERE!!!! The sad one is the person who tries to make people feel "less than" simply because their previous e-buddies didn't have engaging personalities enough to get a thread over 1.5 million views in the off season. #sucksforthoseolddays #2000viewsandrepliesaregreat #pissoff
I'd just like to state that though I do not post much off-season, I loyally read here whenever I have the time. I have made a contribution to the forum so while I'm not contributing to the back and forth posting I feel like a member of this forum. Having read here so much I feel like I know you all from your posts.
Jade is my favorite and I'm not ashamed of it but I'm not going to argue with those who do not like her. Really...that is their problem as she is a positive kind person...so they are the losers. But having said that..I read here because I like so many of the posters.
Not sure why I felt the need..but wanted to put it out there for myself and I'm sure many other lurkers. I'm in the middle of packing for a trip to the Bay Area to visit with family...some I have not seen in over 30 years. My Dr kindly gave me some pills to take for the plane rides and I decided to sample one while packing so I'll know what to expect. This is the result
Just wanted to add...my favorite all-time scenario would be for Jade and Drew to somehow find each other in a few years (growing older and wiser) and decide to be together. Go nuts now...I will not be able to see the replies until I get back from California.
