Yes that's exactly what he is saying. LA is like beachside Melbourne except everything is cheaper.
Errrthang I think is hipster for everything.
Oh and I think given that he now has stated how cheap everything is - he had better come back to Australia armed with presents or he may be in trouble..... (Me thinks....)

if he bought presents then the money he saved would be spent on excess baggage, it's not worth it. would be my excuse ;)

I translate hipster. I also translate drunk person (years of listening) so I can work all around. Drunk hipster is tough but I can get the gist of it.

Me thinks you thinks right.

It's not OCD, the human body is my work and passion, like an English teacher may be fastidious about spelling and grammar, or a jeweler is passionate about the cut and size of gems. Hence the pet peeve. I would recommend looking at an Anatomy text for more detail about floating ribs etc. re: Adam and Eve

i can't find it on here, but with Xavier quitting his job and going to Europe, i would love him to start a blog about what he gets up to. i wonder if he has a plan, or is he just flying over there and sees what life has for him? scary and exciting :biggrin:
