I agree, though if those clubs were still to exist today, then I daresay Real Estate Agents would be among their members.

(I had a similar thought, about what a male dominated industry it seems, but it may be that poker is an activity men are more interested than women ... but that itself seems like a generalisation and I'll just keep on looping around)

Back in like the 50's I'm pretty sure women were not allowed in the pubs? I remember a scene from A Place To Call Home, where the main character, a women was told she was not allowed in the public bar. Crazy crazy times back then.
