Just catching up on the last day - whoa there were some arguments, I hope my post yesterday didn't contribute too much.

Why are people saying @Connoisseur was getting mobbed? @delcan and @Inigo Montoya were the only people even responding to him and it was nothing that I haven't seen Connoisseur already say to them in the Jade Appreciation Thread.

Can't believe this is even an argument. He is probably laughing about what has been caused as we speak. He seems like a bit of an attention seeker so I think everyone has probably just fueled that.

Just relax ladies and gentlemen.

ALOT of people come into hospital to have their operation on the leg which with leave them in a cast non-weight bearing for 6 weeks using crutches having driven their car in when they live over an hour away. We tell them they can't drive home and they get really pissed off. It's kinda funny
 
Illegal as it may be, I feel like I could drive with a cast on my arm. I tend to drive with just one hand on the wheel anyway, which I'm sure is not advisable, I'd be more concerned with changing gears. It would probably negate your insurance immediately if you did this though.

I drove with my broken ankle because the GP said it was sprained. When he decided that maybe it wasn't, he sent me to an xray clinic that is across the road from the hospital ED - but told me to come back after the xrays were done, so I drove there and back. He was full when I got back so I saw another GP at the practice - who nearly went hysterical. She phoned my daughter at work and got her to come home, get me and the car, then take me back to ED to have it dealt with.

I feel sorry for Jade because some always post negatively about her. They dig up every of her single mistake & draw her in a very bad maner with speculation not evidence.

Jade is just 23 & is a good daughter & doesn't talk bad about others. She is beautiful & sexy. But she has been working very hard & legally to reach her goal. I guess she may get much more money or better job if she agrees to sleep with some whom she doesn't has feeling for. But instead she chose to work in a bar & behind the scenes at C9.

For me, Jade is still much more composed & a better rolemodel for the young generation (comments from her FB from middle-aged people...) than Tully.

A couple of things here look weird to me. You mention her working hard "legally". Who is not working hard "legally"? What does that have to do with anything?

She is a "good daughter". Again, what does that have to do with anything? Unless you are her mother or father why is that worth mentioning? Are you Fabio? If so, what sort of money are you pulling in these days? Because there is a conspiracy theory going around about Jade, a ski instructor and the Pope that I want to sort out.

DECK Bar will be smoking hot this afternoon with the annual Rescue Me NT challenge.

The event, now in its fifth year, puts emergency service personnel stamina and damsel rescuing ability to the test.
Twenty-two competitors including four women braved 14 flights of stairs and a 50m dash with a damsel in what one fireman described as “three minutes 20 seconds of hell”.



NT Big Brother contestant Tahan Lew Fatt will be playing the role of rescuee for one lucky fireman.

“I’m looking forward to getting carried around by a hot fireman,” Ms Lew Fatt said.

Ms Lew Fatt’s father has been a firefighter in the Territory for over 20 years.

She said she is excited to be competing against fellow Big Brother contestant and Melbourne firefighter Caleb Geppert.



“I really want to win! I’m very competitive, but it’s a great cause, too,” she said.

Competitors will take turns running up and down 14 flights of stairs to the top of NT House and “rescuing” their maiden at the bottom and carrying them the final 50m dash over the finish line.

The fastest time recorded wins. The event starts at 3pm.
 
Can all you people involved in the arguing go and start your own thread? No-one else gives a shit!

@Tim can this thread go back to being only for discussing last year's housemates? There's a whole sub-forum for off-topic discussion, people can post there instead.

As much as Tully's constant selfies bug me at times she's clearly a natural behind the camera as evidenced by the photo above being her first ever shoot. She certainly looks like she knew what she was doing.

And even if it's just for an event I like seeing Caleb and Tahan spend time together and him get a tiny bit of publicity (in the NT at least). I know how desperate he seems to not be forgotten.

again it was an example there are many quality individuals that go to uni, just as there are many good people that work in fast food (in other words good people who don't happen to have/make a lot of money).
