I just had to quote this although I suspect you're taking the piss, it's doesn't make any less accurate never-the-less. :D

Personally I don't think Jade is a gold digger in the traditional sense of the word. Like for example the bimbos who edlesten hooks up with, they have no qualms/shame in getting romantically involved with a man who's probably over 50 years their senior just for the opportunity to have access to his money.

No, Jade is more your modern version hipster gold digger who has standards and won't settle on the looks department one little bit. So for that she's willing to be patient and bide some time to snare her prey. Meanwhile she'll work in transitory entertainment industry to sustain her lifestyle and hopefully eventually meet the wealthy good looking sportsmen she's dreamt all her whole life, who'll make her his princess for ever and ever, amen.

I don't think Ed really understands what is professional and what is not eg. posting photos of the internal newsletter and client's property. Also, judging by how puffy his eyes are, those comments may have been allowed while drunk.

That's the only way people could have gotten that idea because surely a gold digger wouldn't have been interested in Ed. Average footy player that was retired by 26 doesn't exactly scream "show me the money". If she wanted someone wealthy she would have gone for Drew because the earning potential of an engineer is much higher. A true gold digger would know that.

Also she's a gold digger, why hasn't she tried to jump Tim by now? 250k in the bank, good job in the media that can pay for a nice apartment in Bondi. Surely gold digger Jade would be all over that.

Jesus, although I don't agree with them, at least I can see where people would get that impression when they call her stupid, boring, weak, clingy, etc. Gold digger is a huge stretch.

Jade to me really seems like she's working hard to create something for herself that's financially sustainable. People that work two jobs while at school as a child to support their parent, that pick up their whole lives to start over in another country with nothing, that are happy to go and work behind the scenes to learn the ropes after being on television, those people aren't gold diggers. They're hard workers.

She said she wanted emotional stability in a partner and that's why she fell for Ed. There is a huge difference between wanting someone emotionally stable and wanting someone financially stable.


And what's all this about Tully and Drew having a baby? Have I missed something? As much as that would be interesting to follow for entertainment purposes, I could not approve of that for the well being of that poor child alone.

She is hanging out with Tim.
She did think Ed had a agent career going.
She did say something like" I usually goes for guys like Drew but she wants to go for guys that are more accomplished now."
I don't see where Ed provided her any stability of any sort.
 
I can't believe this is still going on. If I thought Jade was a gold digger and after Tim for his prize money I'd be spitting nails; the whole thing is just ridiculous. She's a nice young girl. Her and Tim are friends. They seem very comfortable with each other and happy to be together. I don't see a problem.

I think she likes him I'm not saying that is the only reason she is hanging out with him. However, I haven't seen her hanging out with any broke uni students.

You do know that they're different kind of gold diggers?

There are those who are fully committed to marrying a guy with money and therefore set up for life.

And then there are those who cock tease beta (Tim?) males in the hope they spend a bit of dosh their way. You know, using them and stuff to subsidise their expensive unattainable glamarous lifestyle that can't be funded by their own modest transient employment.

How do you - or any of us - know who she hangs out with. She and Tim have posted some pics together and she posts some of her with people when she is at events - other than that the rest of her life is not generally lived on social media. She doesn't post every day, and when she does the posts are not always about who she is with. As she is also a student, she may well hang out with other students - and acting students are notoriously broke.
 
As decreed by TullyLovesDrew and Connoisseur, women are only allowed to date men who make minimal wage and look like their head has been beaten against a brick wall. Otherwise, they are gold diggers. Tahan and David need to break up then. Oh, and Tully and Drew.

I was going to reference Geoffrey Edelston, because the women that guy attracted are 100% pure gold diggers. A true gold digger does not care about looks. Like Donald Trumps Mrs or Anna Nicole Smith. Looks don't matter, its about the straight cash homey! I love using that phrase.
