Considering I own 29 Godzilla films, I might be a tad bias, but the new Godzilla film is terrific fun!

*sigh*

I knew I shouldn't have criticised those shirts because someone would take it as a criticism of Tahan.

Couldn't be because I think she has classically beautiful looks that deserve a lot better than a top/dress with the words "homegirl" across the front that looks like it was designed for a thirteen year old.

But no, I was attacking her (and anyone that would wear any of the Tigermist line) because I made a criticism of that one outfit.
I didn't say you were attacking her. I said her wearing tigermist and the comments towards it were harsher than necessary. Given the fact she is wearing what is given to her as it may be an incoming income I see it as just that. There are more comments that are directly against tahan wearing it, so it shouldn't be an issue if there was some comments that are the other way. Let's not make this a I shouldn't have said this because it was taken the wrong way and so on when your comments were what self respecting person would wear this and followed with a second question that stated let alone pay 30 to 40 dollars. If that Was not what you meant then fine, but I can justify why I think tahan wearing it is fine.

No, anyone can go to GT, plenty of straight girls do, but it is mostly lesbians. Even guys sometimes find their way in somehow.
I've wondered, not least because despite not even liking their page, Facebook continues to 'recommend' I attend their events, if they enforced a female-only policy and if doing so could open themselves to exposure under anti-discrimination laws.

I'm certainly not experienced in anti-discrimination law details, however my general understanding in SA is that it is allowable if the association (of people) also holds events exclusively for the other gender as well, which is something Snatch and Grab don't do, but it may be enough that the bars themselves do it and I believe there is 101 (not exact number) exemptions including 'gender promotion'. But that general view is SA not NSW where the events are held.

Anyway, if they do generally exclude males at the door, hopefully there has been advice sought on this.

I know even less on anti-discrimination laws than you so i will make no attempt to comment there. I will say though, it is - as you would expect - very female heavy but I believe males are allowed to attend should they wish. Like I said I have seen some in there, and I don't think they actively deny them entry on the sole basis of their gender. Not sure how a group of obviously straight meatheads would go trying to get in, I don't think any have tried.

So don't worry Reaper, they will let you in ;)

It has nothing to do with Tahan though! I was criticising a top. I've got no problem with Tahan modelling it. I give props to any HMs that have been able to keep getting income/free stuff from their BB experience in any way. I just didn't like that top! If you think my criticism of the top was too harsh then I'm sorry I take it back. I'm sorry if you got offended by my "self-respecting" comment but that was just a throw-away line because I really couldn't imagine anyone wanting to buy it (but yes, I know there would be people that would be). I really just don't like that top and I thought I was okay to say so because pretty much every poster on here criticises the Tigermist clothing (on both Tahan and Boog) on a daily basis...as they criticise things the SS have designed, Tully or Jade wear.

I think it is the stupidest thing ever when people put clothes on their dogs. :bang:

Oh boy, you would not like any of my friends then. As bleachy_dude said, there are many occasions where it's appropriate such as to keep the pooch warm, I think my friends might push it a little bit by making their dogs wear dresses, sandals and hats. Do yourself a favour and never hack into my facebook and look at my newsfeed, you would die!

I am just about to buy my dog a coat with a backpack :woot:

As my post said there are lots of comments that are with yours than there are with mine, so it shouldn't be an issue that mine is differing. I also said that I was commenting about the comments towards her wearing tigermist not tahan herself. My posts are not to create an argument but in support of why I am defending tahan and the others who may wear it. We all have differing fashion tastes and that's fine. This is not an attack on you, gemini. This is a general comment in support of. Yes, some of my comments were in regards to your quotes but was not the fundamental views on my posts. It was to state that the girl is wearing outfit as a job and pointing out that in the past jade was in that very position and it was defended so I was doing the same. It was not an attack or calling out on your opinion which you have every right to, which is why I didn't quote you to begin with. I was not offended not was I upset by your opinion, I was just offering a different one

Dogs that have been domesticated are not brought up in the harsher of weather elements. My dog starts to shiver when she is cold. I put a dog jacket on her and she stops. Don't see how that is stupid?

Growing up around Greyhounds, they also require coats to keep them warm during the winter months. But I think there is a difference between that and doing it for fashion purposes.
