I noticed in the background of the shots "GIANT" is one of the sponsors - this is the model agency Drew has recently signed with, so I think he is "at work". I suspect the other guys in the photos with Drew (& Ed) are other models with Giant. I don't think it is really Drew's scene

I think you are right. Drew looks really uncomfortable in all the photos, even the ones without Ed.

I think Sophie van den Akkers (the blonde who called Ed Nick and played Wii tennis with him) was there as well, with Britt thingy - the PR person that seems to be getting Ed along to these recent events
 
explanation - Ed probably turned up in his uber car and noticed he was overdressed. he then tucked his pants in his boots to look more casual and started off a new trend. Tiger Mist caught on to this and copied his style, incorporating it into their fashion line. soon after, longer socks were added to the collection, the business boomed, and they had to open a new store at the disused beanbag shop
