That's the part that gets me too. I don't care which party she supports... it's the way she goes about things - basically on any topic for that matter - that really bothers me. When they were watching the campaign ads in the house and she was over-talking people and just being her generally loud self it's like who the heck do you think you are? Being the loudest and the last to speak doesn't make you right; nor does treating those you're speaking to as if they're all dippier than f and they need you to tell them what they should think. She's made it apparent that she's one of the last people who should be acting so condescendingly to anyone else re politics. Then again, I side-eye anyone who just blindly toes any party line without being able to have a rational conversation about it. It's one thing to watch her act that way with things like the grocery list or whatever but with something as important as politics? Nah, gtfo. She's going to be in for a rude awakening one day.

YES! It's her manner, that condescending tone, her belittling words, her holier than though approach. GTFO!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to be one of the sidekicks posting vids as much this season as somehow my kid suddenly has the social calendar of Roz Reines but I'll definitely be camped in there when I can get on in the day.

That girl was an attention seeker IMO, there were a lot of interesting exchanges in that those threads.

Well I did it! And it works! Had to take a break halfway through and walk the dog to calm down because of this little clip I couldn't replace. But I figure, the new bulbs in, the light works, its staying in place, who cares about the clip? hmm... Now to test this Liquid Plumber Full Clog Destroyer. Satisfaction guaranteed! Timing it fifteen minutes.

i can just sort of remember bits of it, it was so strange. did she talk to the potatoes?

Oh yeah! There was so much good stuff in there. And I think the weekly event of trying to figure out who'd won the Showdown based on the updates really laid the groundwork for this thread's fondness for trying to figure out puzzles. For better or worse.

yeah I used to love trying to find any little hints spotted in the live updates... trying to figure out who won showdown, who was swapped and replaced being up for eviction that week, and who they took to the P.S etc lol

Yep I thought he was great. I have no idea how he lost. I know they had a conspiracy theory about Logan David being out of the house and being able to vote, but it seemed a little thin. I liked Fitzy, he was one of the funniest housemates there has been and Bree was great too. No need to ask why Fitzy lost. It seemed like every week he burned bridges with the female audience and housemates.

Here's hoping they find some good ones.

The potatoes gave her wiiiiiiiide berth from what I can recall. I'm usually one to get right in there and even I was flummoxed. It was just so out of left field. I remember getting sent a group PM telling me I should go in on her and I was like wtf do you even say to that especially when an Aboriginal girl was getting a good chunk of the air time on the DS and getting saved every week. So bizarre but kudos to her if she was just a troll as she never let up.
 
Mikkayla should be thankful that she was adopted into this Country.
Dissing fellow country persons, with such arrogant words and by disliking her own genes, makes hate - towards others and thy self.....

Those Mumbai'ers really didn't stand a chance every Wednesday. I honestly can't think of one week where by the time the DS rolled around we hadn't sussed out who won Showdown and who went to the PS. Or at least were 95% certain. You could always tell the nights I'd had a glass of wine because if someone had pissed me off in the DS thread I'd say something like "ummm we figured it out like 8 hours ago in the LF thread if you really want to know..." as I just knew the temptation would be too great for them not to go scrambling to look. Talk about passive aggressive but whatever... it was a warzone in those DS threads at times! Between people going off about Daylight Savings and then when Sydney News got extended by 30 minutes, if you lived in Melbourne you needed your helmet and flak jacket on and be ready to rumble. So why not throw a little spoiler grenade in there too just to be cute. :smuggrin:

Went in after the fifteen minutes and the standing water was gone. Yay! So I turned on the hot water full blast as directed, and ended up with more standing water. But I could hear it slowly draining. So I put more Liquid Plumber in, and also removed the tub vent and poured some down that, about to go check it now....and i'm back. same thing again, but draining quicker this time, so poured more in.

Might just need to run some more hot water ...... sounds like what caustic soda does :)

Don't let that stuff get on your skin :arghh:
