You can't see at all that the idiotic things he has done is a result of the bright hot burning light on his life from such a young age?. No time to mature. Forced into an adult lifestyle from the age of a kid. Yes the out workings are more serious than Britney. But I say there's no way he hasn't been mentally and emotionally wrecked by his experience.

I agree with that, but regardless of the reasons he has done these things they are still completely unacceptable. Britney was not hurting anyone but herself. His parents appear to have failed him, but that does not give him a pass for what he has done. We have seen plenty of people endure bad situations and do questionable things. They should still be held accountable for their actions.

I agree. It's no excuse. He should be held accountable.
That doesn't make it any less sad.

Eta: I guess what I am saying is, like Britney, I believe he has some serious mental and emotional issues to work out.

FWIW it's not really his music for me, I hardly listen (although I have been to both his concerts :p) it was seeing his movie that made me realise he is a talented kid. I can't defend his recent actions. I'm just praying for a redemption story. Sooner rather than later.

I agree with you. I with you on the fact that it is sad to see anyone who has so much going for them not be able to make the most of it and use his celebrity in a positive, inspiring way. But my sympathies lie first and foremost with the fans he has treated poorly (spitting, phone throwing), the people who could be hurt or injured by his recklessness and anyone who had to hear his racial slurs because at no age are they acceptable. Once we get that out of the way, its disappointing and sad to see someone squander such opportunities by behaving that way. 100% with you, but I just don't like him and I don't respect him.

I think it is not fair to say that Tully needs to make an effort. Tully is the only one that has been making an effort over the past few months. Drew has not had made any effort at all IMO. I don't know what else she has to do. Clearly he is happy to do his own thing, and I'm glad to see Tully out enjoying herself with friends.

I do see where your coming from Drew does need to make an effort. And it is great to see her with her friends. I just think personally neither of them seem to care that much because they are constantly on/off with their friendship from what I can see.

I think a lot of men his age also do stupid thing like he has done, except he is in the public eye and therefore anything he does is reported on. The video of him saying all that racist stuff was in the hands of TMZ for years and they were bribing him with it. Kind of sad really... lesson to be learned is do not be famous.

I don't really take too much interest in the Tully / Drew saga but what I have noticed mainly from posts in here is that she seems to be making the big effort on social media whereas he does not. Could be he prefers to keep it more private?

Yeah, that's how I'm seeing it too--although he's so guarded it's hard to know for sure. But the fact that she's still in pretty regular contact with his friends (and they with her) makes it seem like he's the one being chilly.

I see that too. It kinda shows in that aspect how different they are. He likes things private she is all about advertising things. I guess i hope they find a middle where the fans dont get too much or nothing at all. But they get enough which will make him feel comfortable with it.
