I was wondering about Tully's comment in her blog article about returning to her previous job with her 'tail between her legs'. While some of the HMs resigned from their jobs before BB (whether by choice or because their employers couldn't/wouldn't hold their positions for the 3 - 6 months needed), others were able to keep their jobs to go back to.

The term 'tail between your legs' usually means backing down, eating humble pie etc - which makes me wonder how Tully left her job - and in what state she left the employer/employee relationship.

I took her comment to mean that she was sure she'd become an instant celebrity winning fame & fortune and didn't expect to have to go back to a regular old JOB.

If that is all it is, and she hasn't burned any bridges, she should just suck it up and go back (if they will take her), reestablish her self, consolidate her position and then try moving forward from strength rather than whinging and scabbing freebies

I read it that way as well. Like she had failed at her Big Brother related career ambitions and had to return to something that she had believed she would not have to.

I didn't read it as her having told everyone to fuck off or left her job on bad terms. Maybe it was just the fact that Tully, more than other housemates besides Tim, really took advantage of the Big Brother related stuff. All of them have done it, but the selling your story to magazines seems a step further than the other went.
