Our Power: Heads Of House

From the articles released before the launch:

"2014 is the year of power. Every week a new power will be introduced, and a new housemate will hold the power. Money will play a major part."

So I don't think this food issue is going to be a one off thing and the chances of the prize money dwindling are going to continue throughout. You're offered the same amount Jade made last year for coming second vs hoping the Australian public are going to spend their cash to vote for you to win over all the other HMs plus any intruders who may come in? And you have no idea where you rate on the popularity ladder anyway? Easy choice for me.
 
I would vote Priya and Katie again, just so the shit hits the fan for another week. Tonights episode when they were all fighting over "their" money, was the best episode so far, I think.
 
I'm pretty sure last night the poll did call for who you wanted to see with the power.

They seem to have changed the question.
 
So the Power vote didn't even last 24 hours?

They're probably going to use this weakest pair vote as a poll on nomination or eviction night.

Yeah they changed it. Maybe they only wanted to keep it open for a short amount of time?
 
I'm not sure I like that they changed the question without telling anyone...

I voted for Travis and Ryan as the weakest though.

Agree with you there. I don't know if it's a purpose change the question, cos this one doesn't specify if it's for HOH or not, although it goes towards TV so it may be... Cos it doesn't let you vote again.
 
I theorise that the couple we chose as the next HOH will be given some sort of task that involves either punishing, excluding or coercing with the pair we chose as the weakest. The two choices will play some sort of major role in next week's Power Play.

And I do think the HM's will be told that the public are making these decisions. It stirs the pot and gets them thinking as to why we are choosing the people we are. It's good.
 
Just flicked through the official Facebook page and it was very clearly saying to vote for your favourite pair for the power. So seems this question re weakest pair must be something else!
