No Big Brother on Friday, Sunday.

What the hell I haven't been paying attention and just assumed it would be on at least tonight, this is just dumb. A 20 year old James Bond movie (while awesome) can wait...
 
I found last week really annoying. It was too long a gap and I almost stopped caring. Then the monday show was too long.

As a BBUS viewer, the US version has always been 3 shows, with the after dark show..no complaints and the Show is heading into its 17 season. CBS has never had a problem because the format has stayed the same...giving too much footage is overkill in my opinion and then when the footage isnt there, fans lose?interest. Channel 9 make up your mind. Also, I rather have a comp-based BB than just a social-BB like this series. It makes it more fun and more drama comes of it. I've had enough of these tasks.

There's no complaints because they aren't used to anything different. The audience are used to being treated like crap, paying a large amount for a live feed that has long blackouts and makes people wait days to actually see the all important competitions. They've even had weekend blackouts, and they don't have stuff live on the 'live' shows either. Also having episodes full of montages or recaps of what happened earlier.

It's the same with what happened with Channel 5 in the UK, spookily similar. It's just going low budget.
 
As much as I hate to say it I doubt very much if BB will be on anymore and that includes other networks taking it on too

I think there's a chance Ten may take it back, and I'm not just saying that because I sincerely hope so, but I think with the success of The Bachelor and the revenue of the show and media attention, they may just take a gamble on Big Brother in 2016 on a two year contract and see how it goes. Maybe they'll throw Carrie Bickmore into the host position, and hope that it works better than it did for SYTYCD.
 
Does anyone have any idea how much this show costs to make? Big brother U.S. is fine because it produces so many hours of content for the cost. I think this season of BB Australia is looking pretty inexpensive, other than the cost for the house.
So maybe if it doesn't cost that much to make, they will keep it. It does seem to have a teen audience, but most of the teens I know don't watch tv much. They are all watching YouTube shows or Netflix or whatever. Most college kids I know save money by not even having cable tv and just spending on fast Wi-Fi.
