New Off Topic Thread ..... (Everyone: please be nice)

Crazy, there was a theory that we have the most cases recorded because we are conducting the most tests. Apparently 22,000 the other day
Sure Donald. That's the reason.

Other states probably have a lot of cases, it’s probably cause they haven’t been testing as much as we have

I looked at the Saturday and Sunday stats for NSW and Victoria (source is https://covidlive.com.au/nsw and https://covidlive.com.au/vic).

Total weekend stats for NSW
41,848 tests
1 case of community transmission.

Total weekend stats for Victoria
40,057 tests
20 cases of community transmission.

So NSW did more tests than Victoria but doesn't seem to be detecting the same level of community transmission.

Whoops, someone told me that we were conducting the most tests, they must have been wrong

Just corrected this sorry.

I initially had 525 as the number of community transmission cases for Victoria during the weekend. That seems to be a cumulative total. The actual weekend total was 20.
