Reality TV shows overall is a good starting point but I watch Vanderpump Rules twice as much as I watch reality TV so that may be more specific.

I don’t get the gif thing. I don't watch much television so maybe thats it but are the gifs supposed to be well known? Where do people even find gifs. What is the attraction of the gif?

Some gifs are well known, others aren't. I get my gifs off google images. Sometimes it's easier to express what you're thinking in gifs rather than words.
