Missed why Jake so in need of money..?

He is neither... Simply a student with some creative media ideas - infact he's a bit of a YouTube sensation.. That is all.
 
I think it's unfair for us to judge him since we really don't know his situation either. His 'career' as a tennis player would have made him nothing. Granted, we know the Bondi thing, but we don't know much beyond that re his expenses and what he has. It's assumptions being made that are probably connected to a negative perception due to his relationship with Tim.

I can speak, as I know him well.

There's no pretence with Jakes, only what BB tried to hide in him being Tim's HM.
 
I think he played them, he played them hard. lol

Good on him for convincingly selling his 'financial hardship' sob stories to the point that Lawson thought of him immediately as someone that needed money over all the other hms but I'm not convinced he's any more hard up for coin than most of the other hms.
 
They showed very brief snippets of what seemed to be his "sob story" during the Nominations tonight.

Honestly, his story seemed boring, his tears seemed fake and he'll probably be so pissed that it never made it to air.
 
Jake seems like a quality bloke. How many people would've caved into to the rest of the group and just gave up with Gemma? I dont wanna hear someone say he was doing it for the cameras.... i would've got the fuck away from her after 2 days. It was a class act on his behalf.
 
I think everyone is being very rude! How do you no what his life is like your not him! How can you think his tears are fake or that he is acting poor! You can't judge someone you don't even know!

He's on big brother. He would know every word he says is going to be dissected and judged. I'd he wasn't ok with that he shouldn't be on the show. It's the nature of the beast.
