Mikkayla Appreciation Thread

i remember her referring to tully to "suck it up" at the beginning in the DR and last night she says "she's stronger than them" but has cried so many times I've lost count, even more than tully..breaks down pretty much everyday, not the definition of strong is it?
 
I'm torn now. She was an absolute sook about the dress, but I liked her obvious rapport with the dog, & her complaints/impersonations in the diary room were spot on.
 
Love her tonight she is her own person and the end conversation with Rohan proved she knew what she was doing.
She was the first and only one to put her hand up to be care taker of the dog, yet others bitched about her taking the task on. She has also put her hand up first for other volunteering roles when offered. She seems very genuine and yet still vulnerable about body issues, I think she is adorable and very pretty. Well done Jasmin for lending her an outfit and making her feel good. I hope Mikki goes as far as possible. Winning a showdown would be good too so she gets the suite and some extra power in the house to shake them up

Yes, to everything you said. Plus Mr C loves her, and dog's like that aren't easily fooled.

I just hope she continues to be lucky, if not because she is one of the betters HMs, but because it would be a big troll towards the rest of the housemates. Some of the HMs are already annoyed at her luck, can you imagine if she wins another thing?
 
I wonder what her students think of seeing her sitting on the ground in her bra blubbering about being a fatty while her stomach jiggled with each sob?

Yeah she was being a sook but I kind of get it, we all have those days where nothing looks good often for no particular reason other than we are just having an off day. I guess Mikayla was having one of those days.

I thought that scene was just so unnecessary, the ceiling camera swung around about 300 degrees to get that shot and it added nothing to the show. I know they go on there knowing they are going to be exposed but ffs really did they need to embarrass her like that.

I'd have been a sook too. BB showed very bad form not getting proper sizes for those girls. Seriously. How hard is it? And if he wasn't sure (Maybe they've put on a little weight) he could have sent the same dress in a couple of sizes just in case. It would be demoralising.
 
she's hardly a fatty, she looks great but everyone has body issues, even the guys which is why they spend 24/7 pumping iron and admiring themselves. No one cried when she was chosen over Matt to be in the half way house even though she's spent enough time in there but they all cracked it when he had to go in because of her luck...but no one thought it was unlucky that she was chosen to go back in favour of matt. She's been treated poorly by some, even if she is abrasive. I think she's got balls of steel and last night her tough attitude, even when she knew she was going to be unpopular, endeared her to me.

I like her.

She is opinionated, cheeky, intelligent, funny, beautiful and yet riddled with self doubt, just like the majority of us, when she can't fit into her clothes or find a dress that she feels suits her.
 
If Matt goes, which right now I think is possible, things won't be too good for her in the house.

I would love to see that happen but some how I think the producers will help him stay with the right footage.

I dont think she would too bothered now she already knows she has made enemies. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
 
Mikkayla is one of those people you like despite themselves. She has her failings, but oodles of character and smarts.

She's alright.
 
I like and trust anybody that a dog likes and trusts. Animals have good instincts about people.
 
Mikkayla seems a great girl and is getting a lot of unnecessary bitching from her other HMs for no real reason.
 
I don't want Mikkayla to leave because she's interesting to watch, but I don't like her. She seems to get irritated with everyone else very quickly, like when she had that massive rant to Big Brother. And her voice annoys me. I wouldn't like to have to live with her.
 
I liked Mikayla from the start, but she really endeared me to her with her pity party in the diary room. She was so clearly venting, and then giggling about it after that it just felt very real and relatable.
