Mikkayla Appreciation Thread

I think the Anti-Mikkayla crowd are getting smaller and more desperate. Ranting and raving over every crumb they can find. It's pretty funny!

In the meantime there favourites like Tully and Tahan are turning in to train wrecks, head for the drop off! LOL!

Cool crowd will be shrinking somewhat dramatically over the next few weeks! Ed this week and Tully and Tahan in the following two weeks after that!

I can't wait to see their expressions when Mikkayla re-enters the house after the Fake Eviction! Make it So!!!!

Hoping Mikkayla is the Housemate saved the most and returns hahahaha. Doesnt look like she will get out of nominations this time.

The main Issue with Tesa is that she was one of the main people I'd clash with in there and had been one of the main people telling me that I had no place there, so I will now do the same to her here and point out that this is the Appreciation thread for Mikkayla and I stand by my post in regards to her being a moron because her post warranted it.

So, please don't call me a bully or compare me with people like Adolf Hitler...It's quite offensive.

Yes, I was reading the thread, I don't make a habit of jumping in to them and making statements without thinking. You are so far off the mark with your interpretation of what I said.

My original message was in response to the large amount of bullying that goes on in threads like these directed at people who are merely expressing their opinion. It seems the sole aim of quite a few members of this forum to denigrate all those who happen to think a bit differently about things. I never mentioned anything about what you said other than the fact that you thought it justifiable to call a poster a moron. Did I say that your're opinion on Mikkayla was invalid? You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to be a bully.

You are basically taking the view that it was okay for you to be immature because you thought someone else was being immature. Seriously? Surely, if you had any maturity you would have just ignored the comment and got on with it. I cannot deal with people who hurl about insults because they aren't getting their way. You want to call someone a moron for no logical reason, then you better be prepared to cop a bit of heat in return.

Also, I did not compare you to Adolf Hitler... What I did was merely point out a few historical bastards who had a habit of marginalising anyone who had a different opinion to them. In doing so, I demonstrated that perhaps it isn't wise to abuse people for expressing their opinions. It isn't my fault that you identified yourself as one of those unreasonable people who is guilty of that.

By "ranting and raving" over crumbs do you actually mean making comments based on what we see on the show? Because, I'm pretty sure that is what we are doing.

It's funny how Mikkayla has decided to create an us against them mentality, labelling Ed and co. the "Cool Crowd" and thus implying that they are the poor, innocent misfits. Poor little Mikkayla, always the victim.
 
Don't get complacent, get her to the top to be FAKE EVICTED! MIKKAYLA THE CAT! How funny would it be?

The us and them mentality was created by the cool group. But as Mikkayla pointed out the cool group are no longer the dominant group in the house and will continue to loose members and you can already see the cracks forming in the remaining members of that group.

If you think poor little Mikkayla, always the victim then you are a fooling yourself. She is one of the strongest people in the house and getting stronger.

I've officially decided that you are most definitely a relative of Mikkayla's. Only someone so close could be so blind.

The only person that is blind is you. You have thrown so called facts and she has proven your facts are nothing more than wrong information. Rather than argue your point, you lower yourself by taking a cheap shot that she is related to mikk.

She has proven nothing, I'm afraid. I have argued my point re: Mikkayla many, many times, I can't be bothered repeating them again.

I don't believe I ever presented my point of view as being factual. Just an opinion.

I like the passive aggressive nature of your rebuttal though, there is a certain, charming naivety about the way you choose to try a belittle me. Thanks for that.
 
Mikkayla is probably the strongest in the house. She knows who she is, she stands up for her friends and she doesn't pander to the supposed popular people. I don't understand why that is a quality to be derided?
 
Would love to see Mikkayla "eliminated" this week as the highest voted for housemate. Their faces when she returned would be classic.

Will throw her a couple of votes this week I'd normally reserve for Timbo.

It was Heidi and Tim who originally devised the nomenclature, but anybody who was not popular at school would see the analogy. If at school the HM was asian, ginger, gay and anachronistic, ditsy or whatever then people like Ed, Matt, Caleb and Heidi made their life hell. It is not speculation to say they are reliving school again. Time and again in Big Brothers around the world people say the same thing 'It is like High School.'

Rewatch the first few weeks of this season of BBAU, and watch the unquestioned hero worship of Ed. Watch Heidi abandon her friend to support the ones she assumes are in power. In old seasons of BBAU it was guys like Ed who got the cash - think the 'Logan' when he beat the other Newtown Tim, Ben etc. Ed's persona was a valid one to win the game, but Mikkayla and Tim have undermined it. It is not about being the victim, it is about defining an enemy so you can defeat it. By calling them 'Cool Kids' she can depersonalize them a bit, and set her friends in opposition to them. Matt should know this, but I guess he was just a grunt, not working on tactics.

That said, she has tried to maintain morale in the house, and in her infuriating screeching bossy way, to get the things done that (she thinks) need to get done.
